I despise the Bath Fitters commercial when the lady opens her shower curtain and screams. Like she didn't know her bathtub looked so disgusting. I literally jump on the mute button.   |

| My husband grew up on LI and is a huge Mets fan. We can barely get WFAN (NY sports AM radio station) down here, but at least he can listen to the games. They have had the exact same commercial for Foxwoods casino for at least three years now, and it annoys me to no end. It is a pretty bad fake Frank Sinatra sounding guy singing "meet me at Foxwoods". My husband knows that the only way he gets to listen to the game when we are in the car is to mute this instantly at the opening notes. BTW, my fifteen year old daughter thinks the Six Flags fake old guy is the funniest thing she's ever seen. They had him on Good Morning America last week, but I missed it. Did anyone see it? |

Reading these posts has made my day since most of them had me ROFL!!!
A suggestion to all, watch PBS and listen to NPR! Commercials are few, and yes they do have commercials for corporate sponsors now, but they are short and the volume doesn't break your eardrums!

I hate the Citibank "Thank you" commercials so much I started a thread on it.

I think you're talking about the Magic Bullet commercials. That's also way up there on my list. In fact, any infomercial that features any British guy irritates me. |

| That awful belly commercial. Whatever its for, it shows a lot of women pulling their shirts up and showing their bellies. HATE IT!!! Don't know what its for because I won't watch it! |

For me, it has to be the Domino's "get the door" commercials. I swear, that doorbell must ring about 4 times each commercial, and they show it all day long. My dog goes NUTS when she hears the doorbell and cannot discriminate between tv and "real life". By the time I get her to calm down, the commercials back on again! |

| I loathe the commercial where some young women are supposed to be stranded on an island, so they use their non-Tampax tampons to spell out, on the sand, the message "send Tampax". Do the sponsors of some of these commercials actually believe that they are witty and catchy? It is almost as if a commercial has to be inane in order to be on the air. |

I cringe when I hear TMI (too much info) commercials about genital herpes, and erectile dysfunction....especially when my son is in the room... Oy!!
I am sure that bladder control is an issue..but if I hear the annoying "Gotta go....gotta go...gotta go right now" song I will stab myself in both ears...twice!!

My DH listens to WFAN...and the song "haunts" my mind. I scream profanity in the car(when we are alone)...everytime it comes on the radio. It comes on very often. My husband thinks the song is annoying too...but he is thinks my creative and innovative use of profanity is funny. |

I don't know this commercial... but I can kinda relate... I have *terrible* eyesight and in general I shower without my contact lenses in. On the rare occasion that I do put them in before I shower, I am amazed at the crud I see on the inside of the shower curtain...  WHOOPS! Time for a new one!!!!!!

Ha! Yankees...ick!! I am a Red Sox fan. Nothing gave me a bigger thrill (yesterday)than to hear 22-0. Poor Yankees
I am boycotting Foxwoods...until the change that dreaded song.
Meet me at the Mohegan Sun...although those TV commercials are getting tedious..as well.
Vegas... "What happens here....stay here" I love those commercials..funny stuff!! |

I go through months where I watch alot of TV and then months where I watch none. Right now I'm watching very little. It seems there are ads I either love or hate! A couple years ago there was one that made me turn the sound down and squeeze my eyes shut! I had quit smoking and had the cravings under control. But then there was this !@*@ ad that showed a close-up of a cigarette being puffed on--the lit end brightening. It practically sent me into convulsions. The stupid part of it is--it was an ad for Nicorette gum! I think the ad was intentional--they wanted you to have a craving so you would buy their gum. |

| I just saw a commercial that will probably give me nightmares. A bunch of teens are in a first aid class. The first aid mannequin jumps up and steals the kid's strappleberry gum then makes a break for it. As the mannequin runs out of the door the kid snatches his arm off. Eventually he steals a bike and runs into a parked car allowing the kid to catch up with him. The kid snatches his other arm off and takes the gum back. Very scary. |

I hate the Mazda commercial where the woman sitting at the potter's wheel steps on the foot control and spews clay over everything and everyone and laughs about it.
I lunge every time
The commercial is over a year old and I had hoped Mazda had trashed it.

For me it is the Charter Cable commercial where the guys says "Is cable better then puppies?" He goes through his speech and then they show him naked and he says "Now, is cable better then clothes? Let's crunch those numbers."

| I've just seen yet another disturbing comercial. The Burger King comercial where the guy wakes up and the actual Burger King is in his bed. The Burger King is kind of like a life size puppet wearing robes, a crown and a huge (Run DMC like) gold medallion that sayd Burger King. The guy seems mildly disturbed until the Burger King gives him a breakfast sandwich. Then he just smiles at it. Another one that will probably give me nightmares. |
