Hi,
I've heard of this research company name PineCone. Apparently it's really great!! You can not sign up through their website only if you see a banner ad on a website. To this day, I am still looking for it... Anyone have any clues?
Thanks
Mary

They run the banners every 3-4 months. Volition.com is usually one of the sites they advertise on and you will see them here. Keep watching the banners on the site and in the forum.

I am a member and it's great. I honestly cannot remember how I got to be one though. Probably from volition. It's fun and they always put the check in the mail BEFORE you do the evaluation. No long waits for the payment. They are awesome.

I like these folks, too! And, yes, I found them by clicking on the banner at Volition.com ...for surveys, they are certainly worthwhile in signing up with.

Just to let all Pinecone members know-- its against the agreement you "sign" when you get accepted with pinecone to tell about the banners-- doing so can cause you to lose your membership and never be allowed back-- its all in the agreement you agreed to when starting with Pinecone-- And yes they do read message boards and they do care

I recently relocated from OK to AL, and did not change my contact info. It's been since January, and I just went yesterday to try to log in and get started again with Pinecone (I really enjoyed being a member, I just had so much going on.) When my login wouldnt work, I sent an email and was told that since I had not responded to the emails and letters that were sent to me, I could not continue my membership. So, I really dont think that you will be able to reinstate. I never received the correspondence from them, but that was my fault since I didnt change the info before I left. I'm a little heartbroken, but let it be a lesson to you: Pinecone is one company that you don't want to get booted from.

I have been a member of pinecone for a year or so. I love them. They are quick to pay and you get to try new products. I have tried 3 products already.

Consuela,
I emailed them and was told that I was taken off due to a glitch in thier system and that I was welcome to apply again. Of course now I have to find the elusive banner ad! Hope I can come across one!

Pinecone is probably one of the most reliable market research companies around. You have the payment for completed surveys almost immediately and their website is wonderful to deal with. If you have the opportunity try it out. It is definitely not a waste of time and always interesting.

Just got this:

If you have ever told a friend about earning $5 for doing surveys for
PineCone Research, it is likely that they have asked, "How can I join?"

Well, now you can tell them how to become part of this elite group of
households. We are offering select members the opportunity to recommend
membership to a friend or relative who is not a member of their household.
Currently we have openings for HOUSEHOLDS OF HISPANIC HERTITAGE.

Do you know of households that meet this description that would like to
join the PineCone Research Panel? A link to the PineCone registration page
follows and it can be forwarded to the households that you would like to
refer. That household should complete the registration form themselves and
submit it. REMEMBER THAT ONLY ONE PERSON PER HOUSEHOLD MAY REGISTER.
Multiple registrations of the same Household will void all registrations
and may impact your ongoing participation with PineCone. As a member in
good standing, you've already seen the benefits of being part of PineCone
Research. So please, share the benefits of membership with a friend. Just
don't forget, please don't tell them about any of the products that you
have seen in our questionnaires or tried in your home.

If your referral has any questions, they can email us at
scott@pineconeresearch.com or call us at 1-888-572-2676. A link to the
    registration page follows.

    http://www.pineconeresearch.com/signup/ds437_Referral_em.asp

Thank you for your help, and spread the word, PINECONE IS GROWING!

    Karen Scott

I honestly do not remember how they found me. I've been a member for about 2 years, and even then it was another year or so before I even got into Mystery Shopping.

I can attest that they are a fantastic company to work for. Very easy and quick with payment. I've only had the chance to test one product, but I still get paid for each survey I complete, whether or not I become a tester!

Hi there, I emailed them directly and got a quick response that they do not have people sign up, that they do post "banner ads"-whatever that means...Can someone tell me what "banner ads are". I am new to this forum-obviously but would like to work for this company also.
Thanks...............

Banner ads are what you see in the upper right of this page. They advertise and if you are lucky to see an ad for them, click it.

If you see my post up above, it says:

"They run the banners every 3-4 months. Volition.com is usually one of the sites they advertise on and you will see them here. Keep watching the banners on the site and in the forum."

I was able to get signed up with them about a year and a half ago. They sometimes ask for referrals from current members for a certain demographic, as the referral for Hispanic households above. With me, it was a new baby. My friend emailed me a link that allowed me to sign up.

I signed up with them this morning (don't know yet if I was accepted or not).
I found a signup link by doing a google search for: PineCone research banner

I don't want to be anything other than what I've been trying to be lately.

I love PineCone! I have done surveys for them for about two years now and they are quick to pay. I have tested a few items for them. It's always fun when you get a "secret" product to try!
