Please try it and let me know if this solved all the issues we had with version 4.3.

Hi,

I keep typing messages and they don't seem to get registered. I just see the "initializing" message.

I am having the same problem. I just get a blank chat area. I can type a message but never see it show up either. It says initializing in the bottome left hand corner. :(

Edited to add:
I am using Windows XP and IE 6.0.

I got in, but I never received responses even though there were others in the room. I logged out and came back in and got the "intializing" screen.

Looks like you've still got some work to do on the system! Good luck.

I was told I could not access the page because it was too busy (or something like that).

I was in before and it worked well. Just got in again with no problem.

Those with problems should post what they are using to see if there is a pattern.

I'm on Windows XP using IE 6.0.

I just get the initializing screen also. I have tried several times. The first attempt bumped me out right away before I could even see anything and from then on, I got the initializing screen. I have XP Home and IE 6.0.

I am at my parents' house. I am using my dad's old machine now (Windows ME yuck yuck yuck). My parents have DSL. I tried the latest versions of both IE and Netscape to log into the new chat but all I got was the initializing screen with blank everything else. I will now go to use my mom's new computer w/ Windows XP (Media edition, I think). When I get home, I will use my dialup (sob!) and both my Dell laptop and HP desktop.

OK. I just tried mom's superfast machine and IE. No go. Initializing forever. It turns out she doesn't have Netscape installed. Lucky she has DSL. I'm downloading Netscape now and will try that ASAP.

This is fun!

OK. Mom's superduper machine and Netscape 7.1 yielded the forever-initializing blank screen. Meanwhile, the upper right corner of this screen shows 22 people are chatting. I wanna play!

OK. Going home to try my two computers and dialup.

Home desktop (HP, WinXP, dialup) -- NEITHER IE nor Netscape worked. Again -- forever initializing; not seeing chat or chatter list.
