It definitely seems to be working...I too had the 'initializing' screen last night, but now, when there's no one in there, I was able to log in very fast.

Seems like a great idea, Ray, thank you!

A couple of weeks ago a new system was tried and I got right into the chat room. This upgrade has done nothing for me though. I still get the thank you you are no longer logged in hope you enjoyed your stay message. I have not been able to log in for months now.

I was on and it was working fine, for awhile. Then none of my responses would go through. I may have been idle for close to 5 minutes when this happened, but it never logged me off ???

It did log you off, it just did not close the browser on you.

I have not made too many edits to the program to see that it works as it comes. I agree that it should say goodbye and be more evident.

The chatroom continues to work great.

Ray, please don't think me an ingrate... but is it possible to change the chatroom so that the tab on my taskbar will flash when someone types something, like Yahoo! and MSN chats?

I've often missed other people coming into the room when I am multitasking. By the time I click on the chatroom, the other people have often left.

it is weird that when you are logged off (due to inactivity) and cannot chat, you can still see the conversations that are going on.

that way you can see what ppl say about you once you're gone!

I have been having issues the last couple days with screen only being 1 1/2 inches tall, so I cannot see anything? Anyone else having this problem?

On the contrary, I was so happy last night when my chatroom screen was the full height of the screen and about 60% the width of the screen. But, I was at my parents' house and using one of their computers. So, I could not tell whether the bigger chatroom window had anything to do with my using a different computer.

There was also no lag. But then, my parents have DSL and I'm on dialup.

60% of the screen, 1-1/2 inches tall...

am i the only one who gets the chat screen to take up the entire screen? i'm pretty sure i have normal settings on the monitor and it feels the entire screen. very strange.

i'm on xp--could that somehow make a difference in the screen sizes?

It is set to open

width = 800 pixels
height = Screen.Height (the full height of your screen)

What is your screen size?
Right click on the desktop -> Properties -> settings

What size is the chat opening to?

Please give us details to work with.

The only thing I see is that little box where I type. It just started doing it last week, and I haven't changed anything?
