The new report format for the airport circuit shops is more user friendly, because they have allowed the shopper to skip repeating the description of a single associate twice, AND the narrative is easier because the new questions set up what becomes a largely "cut and paste" narrative within each shop report. (NOT report to report, lol.)

Did anyone have issues with submitting reports in Sassie Saturday night or anytime on Sunday? Everything was going fine for me on Sunday morning and just when I submitted a report, the site hung there forever and would not reload. I emailed my coordinator and she replied today that no one else had any issues. All my other tabs loaded. I had even closed and reopened my browser (Firefox), and restarted my computer, but still could not get a PDF of my report nor reload the shop log. So, just wondering if it had happened to anyone else with CSE.

It's all working fine as of late last night.

No issues for me & I submitted a bunch of reports to CSE on Saturday & Sunday.

I've done jobs for this company for 3 years and I continue to enjoy working for them. I find their schedulers to be wonderful to work with and their editors to be pleasant as well. The reports may be involved but I try to use the "address every question in the narrative" format for my reports anyway. I have also never had any issues with payment with CSE.

Just wanted to say that I love this MSC. Love-love-love them!

The schedulers are nice and straightforward, no game-playing, and they will contact me privately to ask if I want a particular shop that they know I like to do, or (I guess) have done well. Their shops pay decently (thoughI think some could be better), and payment is quick!!

My only complaint is that some clients want reports that are just too long and detailed. For others, the reports are short and sweet.

Their editors keep me on my toes, and I find myself feeling a bit proud that my shopper rating is 10. Yes, sometimes it is frustrating to get shops sent back to me for detail I thought I already covered in a more general statement, but I've found that CSE's standards have helped me shine (and with other MSCs as well) because their writing requirements have made me better at it all around.

Dear Shoppers,

We are in the midst of some system upgrades and have found that the changes could temporarily impact our payment process. Please be aware that shopper payments may be delayed up to 15 days. We value our shoppers and are making every effort to minimize any impact on you. CSE is working with its vendors to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and will continue to provide updates to shoppers throughout the process. If you have any questions, or need to track a specific payment, please contact your coordinator. Thank you for your understanding and commitment to CSE.

Yours in service,

I was badged with CSE in October of 2012. I was super excited to do some shops for them, because I had worked for the airlines before and loved being at the airport. I went through the whole process including traveling 1 hour each way there. I never got a chance to do a shop for them though. I was offered a set of shops, but because my mother in law had a serious stroke, and I had to help with her mother, I declined the shops. My husband is an only child and his mother and grandmother were both widows. My mother in law cared for her mother up until her stroke and after the stroke, I cared for Grandma, while my husband cared for his mom, all this and running a house with 4 children.

I told my scheduler this was a new development and pretty overwhelming and I was told that they understood, but I got an email stating that they needed to have the badge back. I said I just got it, and the scheduler (Jim) told me that they were replacing all the shoppers with new ones per the clients request. After 3 years of caregiving, Grandma passed away, and my mother in law who has had 2 additional strokes is settled in assisted living. I contacted CSE to do a job right around the corner from me and I was told that I was not allowed to shop for them anymore. I was really confused and torn up about it. I felt that I was lied to and then blackballed for having a family emergency.

I have been a shopper since 2002 and yes, I have spaced a few shops, but I give the shops my best effort. I have helped other Mom's learn to shop and have helped companies by finding people to shop in out of the way places. I contacted CSE and asked if there was anyway that I could have another chance, and there was never any response.

I still get the emails, and it bums me out that they will not even give me the time of day.
Sorry to put this out there, but I saw a shop that is 5 blocks from me that I would love to do, but can't.

Does CSE still give badges to shoppers??? I never heard of an MSC giving badges. I have done lots of post-security airport circuits with CSE, but they always provided an escort for me to get in.

Right now I'm seeing a fair number of post-sec shops in my area, but none of them are circuits and all of them say the shopper already has to have a badge or ticket. I'm getting back into shopping after a long break. Have CSE's airport shop procedures changed significantly in the last few years?

Why not buy a refundable ticket? If you feel the shops are worth doing, buy a refundable ticket and cancel it after you get thru TSA security. That's easy to do.

No way would I do that, and that suggestion does not answer my questions.

I did not know the answer to your question. If I did, I would have answered your question.

I was only trying to provide an alternative to getting a badge. Refundable tickets are easy. I fail to see the issue is with that. I've done it quite a few times.

Agreed, Micah. Especially with Southwest. Buy the ticket for a late flight, complete the circuit, and then return it. Only issue is that the shops need to pay enough to subject me to the TSA Gropers.

Buying a ticket requires having enough extra money to do that, and that isn't always possible. However, my question was specifically about BADGES.
