Has anyone else noticed that Harris Poll has been rewarding small amounts of High Points for completing long surveys? One survey took almost 15 minutes and awarded only 30 points. I watched a video clip 5 times. Is anyone else disappointed lately?

In addition, the point levels to redeem prizes have been changed. With the new point levels it will take practically twice as long to earn the same reward as it used to.

This is disappointing because Harris Poll used to be one of the best survey sites that fairly rewarded its members for participating.

I hadn't heard, but I'm disappointed, as I was saving my points for one of the better folios.

I have just asked for my second and probably last prize redemption. The folios now do not offer restarant prizes that I like for more than $5 and it takes 800 points to get it. It used to take 1000 points to get $10. So I am done with Harris. MyPoints is my favorite.

Not only have the folio rewards and point levels changed-but the amount of points that are being awarded for long surveys are insulting.

I love mypoints too. I hope that they do not decide to change like so many other survey/reward companies.

Harris Polls keeps promising Hi-Points in each survey email they send me, but most of them fail to credit me. I competed all but one survey to support my email provider. That one was waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy toooo longggggggg.
I'm not sure if the email provider got a one time referal fee or if they get a fee for each survey completed.
I've been thinking of dropping the Harris Polls if they keep getting as long as some have recently.

I was able to get a $75 survey on cookware from Harris, that involved 20 minutes of answering questions on the internet for three days in a row. Other than that, I agree that the points are getting harder to rack up.

I use to get a lot of survey's from them but now they are few and far between. A couple year's ago, I turned in points for a really nice deluxe mixer but now I don't have anywhere near that many points to get something like that. It's a bummer because they use to be my favorite survey company.

I still receive a lot of surveys from harris poll. They are really long and in most instances only offer 30 points which I find insulting.

Hmm...all of the HIPoints surveys I've done lately have been smaller, but I have seen some really good-sized point pay-offs recently, too. I think it just depends on the survey. Their prize folios are pretty nice, too, so it's worth it, if you can be patient and stock-pile your points.

I'm DONE with Harris Poll!!!! I've been doing their surveys for around 2 years and decided to take a look at what prizes I might claim with all of my earned points. I was SOOOOOOO disappointed....very cheesey stuff for all the time we put in. I finally picked a multifunction pocket knife and still have a lot of points remaining but I'm not bothering to cash in, I don't need the junk. I can use the knife--it arrived this morning and looks "used". The marks on it will NOT wash off. Its functional and I will use it but I will NOT participate in anymore Harris Poll surveys--all the time I spent on these is certainly worth more than what they can offer.

I am surprised at the negative feedback. This is one of my favorites. I have cashed out twice: once for a $5 restaurant gift card and once for a cd holder. The only thing I have noticed is I seem to get surveys in bunces, I'll get several in a week and then none for several weeks.

For those of you who haven't tried them, they are at least worth looking into

I agree, I am also done with Harrispoll. I get many survey opportunities from them, but yes, the points they give are miniscule. I haven't been on the ball with them on completing enough surveys, but after 2 years and not even making it half way to a $5 gift certificate is pointless. Plus ALL my time spent on completing surveys is more valuable than $5!!!

I, too, have been very disappointed with the low point values. And when I went to "cash out" with a prize, there was nothing that appealed to me or anyone in the family. It was good while it lasted.

hmm how odd. I'm geting 250+ with each invite lately. It's 50 to start with and then asks if I am willing to do more and of course I click yes and I get an extra 200

I finally unsubscribed from Harris poll after about a year and a half of doing their LOOOOOOONG surveys for very little points. And when I did redeem them, I only received the rewards half the time. For example, I redeemed 800 points for a year-long subscription to newsweek magazine. After about 4 months and 20 emails back and forth complaining about NOT receiving my reward, they finally RE-granted my 800 points back to me. However... by the time I had the points re-granted back to me the very same magazine subscription now costs 1300 points to redeem for!! I gave up right then. What a let down.

I have done surveys for Harris poll online for 6 years. I have no problems with the surveys or redeeming points. I feel the rewards offerered are reasonable. The surveys are very easy and fun to do.
