Linda, Are you on dirct deposit with them? The reason I ask is that I recently did a shop for them and have not yet seen my check. My payment history shows paid on 3/20/06, but I haven't gotten the check yet. I feel sure it must be in between me and them in the mail somewhere. I just wasn't comfortable giving out direct deposit information at first. |

| Alice, the direct deposit with them is great and works fast. I like seeing the records they keep under your profile of the direct deposit dates. Have you considered opening a separate account for mystery shopping? That way, for your taxes it does look more business like if you just put those checks in that account. Plus, if you ever have a problem with your account, it wouldn't affect your regular household account. At the end of the month, it is easy to check the statement and go through all of the direct deposits that different companies give and you can even have the paypal that some companies give put into that account. |

| They pay quickly. I did a shop for them and got my reimbursement check within a week. I signed up for direct deposit since they said payment would be even quicker that way. |

| I have enjoyed the assignments I've done for TrendSource. The grocery shops were super easy and required no narrative(!). I do the shopping only rarely for my family, and it's a stress-reliever of sorts for me, so these assignments gave me an excuse to do my thing. They pay extremely fast, their website is top-notch, and the schedulers I have worked with are professional, yet incredibly friendly. Higher fees would make them just about perfect. But I've seen lower fees from companies that are unpleasant and/or require hours of work per assignment. |

Now I'm on direct deposit with Trendsource. I recently did a shop on Monday and was paid on Tuesday
I love doing their shops. The schedulers I have worked with are wonderful. This is a great company to shop for. |

I love TrendSource they have a great search engine for locating jobs in your area and the self select option has made scheduling my MSing days fast and easy. They pay is fair for the amount of work required on a job too. I recently did a job that needed clarification, they emailed me to let me know that I had an alert message. I signed in and entered the information to resolve the question. The schedulers are helpful and professional. I can only think of positive things when it comes to TrendSource. |

I have been signed up with Trendsource for quite a while and still am not considered a shopper. Does anyone know how you become a full shopper.? I am in BC and am wondering if they are just in the U.S. I'd like some feedback on this one because they sound like a wonderful company.

Did anyone else feel unsafe taking a picture of your id and sending it via the web to become a shopper.
I declined becoming a shopper with them -- cause they would not let me fax or mail in my copies. Something about a picture of my id floating over the internet make me feel un easy. |

| A picture sent over the internet is no different than a company having you CC# from when you ordered something. Criminals have many other methods of getting you picture/info. I wouldn't worry about it (obviously) unless it happens. |

| Has anyone else's self-assign disappeared? I used to be able to self-assign any shops like the video stores and grocery, and did shops a plenty last year for them; now I try to assign, and then I end up as back-up. Bleh! I haven't done any shops for them at all this year and now I can't seem to get any. |

I lost mine too, but since the prices of gas started to sky rocket past $3.00, I've decided that it wouldn't be a good time to get back into Mystery Shopping until the prices start to go back down, if that ever happens. |

Nina - I was signed up with them for about 2 months before I could get shops. I had a profile but the assignment searches came up empty. Then I got an email from one of their schedulers about a shop in my area. I took the shop, which was a nice fast food breakfast-type shop and this is what got my foot in the door. Since then I have done a couple of other assignments for them. Perhaps there is not yet anything in your area, but if something comes up, hopefully you'll get emailed too. Good luck. |

I just completed my first shop for this company this month and I love working for them. I completed a shop on Sat and I was paid the following Wed. I have about 8 assignments lined up with them in the next few weeks. My scheduler is really friendly and easy to work with. My only regret is that I have not shopped with them sooner. I have been mystery shopping for over 4 years
I would recommend them to others. Their forms are easy to fill out. I love their payment tracking feature on their website. |

| About sending the photo ID over the net....I blocked out my ID number and sent my license when I uploaded it to Trendsource. They said it was altered and not valid. I had to resend it. I was very uncomfortable doing this. Why do they need the ID# also. The social sec. number is enough for ID. I work for several other companies and none of them asked for this info. What gives? |
