Has anyone worked for this company before? Did you like it?
I am asking because I am supposed to place AOL disk holders in mom and pop stores for them. I accepted two different jobs for the AOL thing. I had to pick up packages (one set) and she said that she hasn't had a very good experience with them.

Depends on the job. I do the USDA Food Stamp for them. It's ok but I am always pissed when the picture doesn't come out right and I have to go do a reshoot. The do pay on a regular schedule.

I just started working with them, I did a demo last weekend. The lady I talked to was super nice, and their instructions are very clear. I received my materials over a week before the job was to be done. I should receive payment in another few days. I really believe they will be great to work with. Hopefully, they will have more work for me in the near future.

I am a newbie and did a demo for them at the end of August. Payment came within two weeks. They are very helpful on the phone when I couldn't get my debit card to work at the store. First impression was a good one.

I wish you lived here!! They have a lot of work in this area. I took a reduced schedule a few months back but I am slowly being picked up again.

Hi, MsKenna. Yes, I'd like to get more work from them, but not if I have to move to California!! Ha, ha!
Maybe they'll have something else for me soon. Do you know what, if any, other assignments they have, besides demos?

I received my check from them yesterday for the demo I did on 9/3. I would probably have got it sooner but one of the forms I sent, I had forgot to sign and date. They mailed it back for me to sign and I sent it back the same day. I think they are great to work with, and I would not hesitate to take more jobs for them!

I do USDA Food Stamp reviews for them, too. The scheduler is WONDERFUL!!!! They pay like clockwork. When I have to do a revisit, however, it is without reimbursement (gas mileage only).

Most of the shops they have in the Dallas area are for demos in a discount mass merchandising store. My concern is the length of the shifts. Most of them are six hours and they require you to stand the entire time. One thing to remember is that when you are demo-ing, you are subject to being mystery shopped. I have mystery shopped the demo companies many times.
Deaton-they just emailed me with a lot of shops for the Dallas area. Looks like a new project coming up. Maybe they have some in East Texas also.

Thanks, MsJudy. I'm hoping to hear from them again.
I don't particularly like the 6-hour shifts, hard on my feet, but the pay is good. I am wondering if there are particular companies who have lots of jobs in Texas, and are there merch sites where you can go on the website and either self-assign or apply for jobs there. It gets frustrating to wait for them to contact me.

I had done a lot of work for them on the food stamp program in the past but have had only a couple of jobs this year. Is anyone else finding the lack of work with them?

I am doing a large Discover project with them. I like their reaction time to emails, but haven't been paid yet to comment on their pay.

Got my first payment on the Discover project yesterday---have to admit it was pretty fast compared to some other places. I was paid through April 7th for work done the end of March until then. Got plenty more to finish up before the deadline!

I have not gotten paid for the work I have done on the Discovery Program. I called last week and was told the amount they owe me and thought the check was go out on Friday. I called again yesterday because still no check. I got a call back today and was told they never got my paperwork. I am faxing it back in today and hopefully this will take care of it.

Anyone else having this problem?

I've received checks from them the past two weeks--it appears they do payroll on Friday for the previious weeks work. The one I got this past Monday was for the week of April 8 to 15. They have been GREAT to work with, so I'm sure it was just a mistake.

My partner and I did an oil reset for a car parts store with them earlier this year. The job hours were totally underestimated; they were saying it should have been 10 man hours. It took about us about 18 man hours for the first one, and we had it down to under 14 by the last one. Here's the impressive part... Greet America sent our scheduler out on the same reset. She took two other people; and it took them over 20 man hours on the first day. (I can't remember the exact hours; I do remember that it took the three of them longer than the two of us.) She went to bat for her people and got us paid for the full amount of time; not the 10 hours we were quoted. He (my partner) got his check in about a week. Since it was my first job with them mine took a few days longer. I liked the fact that they had one of their own crews do the same job, and the way they made sure we got paid for the whole job.

I'd definitely work with them again.

Ditto to their SUPER people and FAST pay. Looking forward to Phase 2 on the Discover project and all other projects as well. Great company to work with.

I have still not gotten paid from Greet America. They told me they received my paperwork and a check would be cut and sent out that day. That was last Thursday. Am I the only one having this problem?
