I am freezing thinking about the harsh weather you guys are having. Aren't we supposed to be having global warming? You guys sure could use a little. It is going to be 70 today here.

REALLY FREEEEEEZING here in Michigan. Blizzard warnings this weekend, we just stayed in the house. It's about ZERO degrees with windchill temps about 20 below. You know it's bad out if they close Grand Rapids Public Schools. I'm off to do my merchandising jobs. brrrrrrrrr.

All of the schools around here are closed, including mine. Big city too, like Cleveland City and Akron City. The wind chill in my town is -23. Dog won't go out. I have a return shop due Wed. that I was going to do today. I don't know if I can make myself go out. I just went out to fill the bird feeder and it is unbelievably cold.

Is everyone doing okay with all the crazy weather US has had lately?
We got hit hard the last couple of days. I heard my county has been declared. A few blocks away is major flooding. Large old trees that up-rooted from saturated grounds. No school yesterday because buses couldn't travel down streets. Down the block from me a house was struck by lightening and spread to the neighboring house while the rain was coming down in sheets. The parents weren't home but the kids were on the school bus coming home to their houses on fire. It was heartbreaking to see there reaction.

From wildfires, hot heat to major flooding, Mother Nature is not happy.

I just got back from Shelby, where the major flooding was on the national news, along with Findlay. The National Guard is there helping with clean-up. My hairdresser showed me a picture of the football field. It was covered with water to the point where you could only see the top three rows of the stadium seats! Local Mennonites have come into town with food and are helping with the clean up. Many places, including corn fields, have a layer of mud where they were covered with muddy water. Right now it is 80s and light-ugh- rain.

Yesterday was 108 in the shade. Right now, 80 degrees and it is 7AM.

We just had an earthquake, that added a little breeze.

Went to see the Buckeyes play yesterday at the 'Shoe. OSU won, Michigan lost, Notre Dame lost, the sun is shining with temperatures in the low 80s. God is smiling on Ohio this weekend!
