21 degrees and lots of snow in the Washington DC area. All the schools are closed and government offices closed or delayed openings. I'm staying inside.

It was beautiful last week--in the 70's and 80's on Thurs and Fri. On Saturday it was in the 30's. Today it is supposed to get up to 50, but it sure is taking its time. Each night I've been putting a blanket over the houseplants that I moved outside (to protect from the cats).

We ended up with about 5 inches of snow. I did end up doing some work today. The back roads were pretty bad this morning, but the main roads were fine. By mid day all the roads were in good shape.

Hubby is in the DC area (about a half hour west of DC actually) for a class for his job. Wonder if he had class today. I'll find out later when It talk to him. I won't call til he should be back at the hotel, just in case they did have class.

Geez, you guys are making me shiver! Brrrr!

It's supposed to rain 5 out of the next 7 days.

Being Day #2, we still have not seen any rain, and it's a mild 72 degrees with warm sunshine.

Our financial situation here in CA couldn't be worse, but our weather is gorgeous!

It got to about 35 today. Temps are supposed to rise to the mid to upper 60's by Friday! I hope it stays there for awhile, but I'm sure it won't. We always get snow during the high school basketball sectionals at the end of March, so I'm sure we're in for more before Spring actually arrives.

Wonderful warm weather in MN today. It got up to 49 here. Wow, no jackets and t-shirt weather. The sun is shining too which makes it even better.

Darlene, it's always warmer in the South! LOL!

We got up to 39 today and it's supposed to be in the mid 30s until Friday. (well, of course not at night). We may see some vegetation soon. Yeah!

I did a ice cream shop last week and while the guy was ringing me up I asked him how business was going. He mentioned that it had been going well since the big warm up - it was 16'F that day!!

Only in MN is 16'F considered a big warm up!

Cold (30-40) and drizzling rain for the past two days.
We're enjoying what little moisture we can get.

It was 65'F today!!!! It was 65'F today!!!!! It was 65'F today!!!!!!

I took the kids out to play - it was SO odd - they were wearing tee shirts and jeans and playing with a ball right next to a pile of snow.

This Floridan gets a little confused when warm weather and snow are in the same area.

Lisa ~

Here in Florida it is in the mid 80's with just a bit of humidity.

Our pool is solar heated and is 90* ~ just the way we like it. We have already been swimming.

Do you remember the yellow oak pollen? It is terrible this year.

Tomorrow will probably bring rain, but having been in a drought for three years it will be very welcome.

BTW ~ we saw the shuttle take off last night. We are across the state, just slightly north, from Cape Canaveral by about 150 miles, but without the clouds we always see it. This time it was awesome! And if the landing pattern takes the shuttle across Citrus County, we hear the double boom of it breaking the sound barrier.
