Wasn't as bad as predicted in this area, maybe a foot but all fluffy. Just south and west of us got over two feet though!

Here we go again!

It started raining again today. I got home from work at 10am and we already had 2 inches in the rain gauge.

This afternoon we had an incredible microburst during a thunderstorm. We got 1/2inch in less than 10 minutes!
I started to hear a lot of sirens and turned on the radio. The problem was a roof collapse at the Virgin Megastore in Burbank. Luckily, the people inside ran out just before the collapse when they started to hear unusual sounds coming from the roof. What a miracle no one was hurt.

We now have rain predicted everyday til at least Wed.

We have had more rain than we really need right now in Arizona. Everything California is getting has been hitting us also. Guess our drought is over. Rivers and washes are full some evacuations have occurred, but not near me. Say a prayer for those in Cali, they need it.

I emptied the rain gauge yesterday at 10am, 4inches since the beginning of the storm.
I emptied it again this morning at 10 am and it had another 3 inches, so thats 7 inches now in 3 days.
It's still raining off and on, heavy at times.
There were 4 tornados that touched down yesterday in Temucula and also just north of San Diego.
Tornados in California?
I can handle Earthquakes but....

I have to leave for work now so I thought I would empty the rain gauge (it only holds 5 inches). Unbelieveable, another 2 1/2 inches!
That's from 10 am today.

Just emptied the rain gauge, another 1 1/2 inch. Today is kind of nice, so far not many showers. I was able to go to the library, grocery store, take the nephew to work, get gas and take out the trash and stay dry! Simple pleasures!

I'm hot...it's in the mid 80's and I've been doing coffee shops all day. Nothing like a 154 degree cup of coffee to warm you up!!! Wonder if they will ever change the required purchase to...maybe iced tea?!! Hopefully they may think about it for this summer??

Hehehe Mimi you wonder sometime don't you. Hey Bonnie boy Cali is really taking a pounding. You guys are all in our prayers.

Its about 35 here. We are now enterting the phase that we Ohioans call the 7 shades of grey. This means the weather changing and heading to spring with lots of rain and clouds and rain and clouds.

I feel like a broken record. I just got home from work and emptied the rain gauge, another 1 1/2 inches.
I think the worst is over although I still drove to work in the rain last night and drove home from work in the rain this morning.
It's supposed to let up today. Thank goodness. I think I see mold or moss growing on me!
BTW, we now have had more rain this season than Seattle! And our season doesn't end til June. So far this is the 4th wettest season on record for us.

Today is our best day of the year...mid 60's and low humidity!!! It will probably go to the 70's since they say mid 60's, but that's ok...it's the humidity that causes the discomfort. Wish I hadn't booked all those shops today!!!

Who has snow? And, how much do ya have? I can dream!!!
