I know what you mean, Lisa;the sky looked like the end of the world for a bit. All we wound up with was few drops of rain, but the temperature has dropped quite a bit and the sky is fantastically orange.

Thanks to that mother of all storms, we went from 98 degrees to 74 in about an hour.

I think I may survive this heat wave after all!!!

We had a severe threat for the day before yesterday. It was humid and 96 degrees. We went from that to 74-80 after a day of showers yesterday but no boomers for us.

We are having a few days of San Diego weather here in Michigan. No humidity, high 70's. The fat cat of the house is playing because the humidity is gone. I'm less grumpy, life is grand!!

Low 70s no humidity. This weather is awesome!
I hate humid weather and it has been miserable over here. The rest of the week it is low 80s.

It is about 78 degrees in Milwaukee, WI

Bonnie, I was in the L.A. area earlier this month and it was about the same. I think it was actually hotter in Wisconsin while I was gone ;)

Wow imagine going from 90 degrees to a 2ft snow blizzard. Yuck poor Dakotas. Does anyone live near there? Report if you have power. Thats too early for snow 80 degrees here in Ohio later today. last day of warm for a while.

dark and gloomy, probably about 85 and humid. Just a yucky day that makes me wish I was home on the couch with a good book.

Three days ago, it was hot . . . in the 80s and 90s. Yesterday it got down to 56 degrees F in the middle of the day, and we had snow in the morning. It should be considerably warmer the next few days, according to the weather man. The weather here is so erratic, you literally don't know what it's going to be from one day to the next. You just have to be prepared for anything.

Happily shopping the Portland, Oregon metro area!

It was 80 yesterday. A very nice day. It was humid last night. Today we top out in the 50s with some showers. Bye Summer autumn is really here. I can't believe I was swimming just over a week ago. What a change.

Yesterday it was a lovely 75-80 with bright sunny skies. Today it's grey, dismal, gloomy and 60 with rain all day. I'm freezing my hoo-hoo off. (And as I related a story elsewhere, I had to fend off a flock of irate geese in the rain in a parking lot this afternoon after doing a shop.) I'm about to curl up with a huge cup of coffee and a BAG of milky way bars before I tackle doing my reports. Sigh!

It has been raining since Monday night...7 inches and counting. It's so gloomy and cold! Streets and basements have been flooding but so far our house is ok. It's supposed to clear up this weekend, I'm keeping my fingers crossed the sun will finally come out!

Oh, Kelly, isn't it just RIDICULOUS??? The streets down by the bay are so flooded, and the canals are overflowing into the streets. Yuck.
