Perhaps useful information for anyone looking to sign up for Hausernet... I was concerned about giving them my social security number, especially since I thought it unlikely I'd ever make more than $600/year with them. I emailed and asked about it. I was told that it was not necessary to submit my social, and if I ever did make enough money to warrant it, I could submit my social then.

I have yet to start receiving mail from them. And from all I've read, they're awfully slow at payment, but I will say that they've replied to every email I've sent them within 24 hours. At least that communication is there.

I haven't received pay and I've been doing it for a year. I am hoping it rolls in soon, because I actually enjoy doing it. I am a little concerned.

The other company I work with does not want their information posted on any forums because they get deluged with emails and calls. Thanks for understanding. As for Hauser I received a check in December. Hauser pays quarterly but only if you meet your $10.00 (40 entries) each quarter.
In this thread there's mention of another decoy program called US Monitor. I have no idea if that one is good or bad or how much they pay. I've never tried for that one. If interested here is a link. http://www.usmonitor.com/agentform/

I think the mailman doesn't bring all of the mail. Has anyone else had to tell them not to get rid of the mail with weird names and why?

I've been looking around to see what problems are going on with Hausernet. I got a few pieces of mail in June and July, then nothing till this past Sat. I did get an email from someone at the company named David asking if I wanted to continue and I emailed him back saying yes.

Earlier today I was going to email a few friends to let them know about Hausernet to see if it would be something they would want to do and while looking for the Main Hausernet website - I came across
www.RIPOFFREPORT.com . There is 4 or 5 complaints on there regarding nonpayment. Now I'm leery of telling anyone to apply AND not sure if I'll get paid for any work I've done.

I'm averaging 7 mailings a day from Hausernet/5 from another decoy program. David is the owner of Hausernet.

Hausernet no longer has DHL which was one of their biggest customers.
Actually I'm glad, those tiny long numbers were a pain but I'd get at least 6 DHL mailings at a time, several times a week.

You should get paid quarterly once you enter 40 mails per qtr. for $10. If I don't receive a payment, I email them. Haven't had a problem.
They're thinking about going with PayPal as payment and on a more regular basis instead of quarterly.

I would love that email address. They seem to have shut down the button to contact them on the site. It's time for my yearly "why haven't you paid me since I bugged you last year" email.

from what I remember I think it is Michelle who handles the payment inquires. michelle@hausernet.com , but don't hold me to that. lol. I have sent several emails asking about payment and have not heard a word in months. I sit here in my office and look at 3 plastic totes full of mail...I have only been paid one time and that was over a year ago. This weekend it is all going in the trash, this was a big waste of my time (and totes). lol

Message From Dave:
We are close to paying off our tax debt which will be done as of 12/31/12 and our paycuts have taken effect as well as payroll backpay.
Everyone should see their pay for August 2012 by the end of the year and we will be going to Paypal in January 2013 with the September 2012 work,
we have worked out a relationship with Paypal and it won't cost the decoys any money and should be cheaper in aggregate than mailing checks.

This also means as of September 2012 work (Jan 2013 pay period) that we will be
abolishing the $10 minimum check as well since we will be going to Paypal.

The backpay will be paid out in 2013, as we will have a lot of the
    aforementioned costs vanishing in 2013.

I thank you all for your patience during this tough 2 year period.

    Regards,
    Dave
