It has been a few years (maybe 3 or 4), but the work was usually in department stores with men's neckwear. They may have added merchandising, but at the time HR Options scheduled in store sellers.
I worked for a company as a RM who used their services when we could not cover areas.
At the time HR Options did not pay mileage. The hourly pay was $ 10.00.
I do know they would call the store(s) when you were scheduled to work checking to see if you were there. They may have suspended that practice because the stores were not happy with the calls.
I assume they paid as promised as no one I had in my stores complained. |

I got a call from this company re: merchandising sunglasses.
Does anyone have any "recent" experience with them?

Kelly F., I guess not, after your waiting over 9 months. :-(
This afternoon, I was working my way down the Volition list of suggested merchandising & demo companies to contact, when looking for merchandising and or demo work, and I see this company is on the list. I too was curious if there any updates on this company as well. Though I’m in Los Angeles, however upon looking at their website for open careers, I do not see any merchandising work listed, however they have other non-merchandising and non-demo related openings, but nothing that I’m qualified for AND and all of the open positions seem to be in Northern California. MAJOR FROWN!!! :-(

Funny, because both their name and website suggest that they have nothing to do with merchandising or even marketing. Rather, they seem to be an HR company (not even a staffing company) that provides HR solutions to businesses with employees. But I cold be wrong about that.

Thank you very much, LarryT. I appreciate your help and information. I sent an email to them to inquire if they had any open merchandising positions in the Los Angeles area, and they wrote me the following on June 13, 2012.:
"We are actually not recruiting for any positions currently, but if you'd like to send a copy of your resume I'd be happy to consider you for anything that opens up in the LA area. Our primary client for merchandising is totes Isotoner, who ramp up for the holiday season.
If you're interested, please forward your resume, and I will be in touch if we have an opening." |
