That's been happening for this last few weeks. I live about 10 minutes from the Dome and OMG... traveling past on the interstate can be hard when a game is starting up or getting out.

What happened tonight? I was out ms'ing in the afternoon and it was in the high 70s in Tampa. Then we went out to dinner in Wesley Chapel, right after sunset and it dropped to the 50s. It's midnight and in the 40s....BRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea, I dressed yesterday for the "warm" weather. When I walked out of the store at 5pm, it was "brrrrrrr". Such a drastic change in a few hours.

Today it is taking all morning to thaw out.

Are we wimps or what? It gets below 70 and we all shiver! People in Canada are quite entertained I'm sure. We've used the fire place for the last two nights. It's great for atmosphere and warmth! And who says I don't need heated seats in my car? (They are THE BEST!) Sure wish those coffee shops were still around!!!

Definitely - we are wimps! I wear a sweater when it's in the 70s. I miss those coffee shops, too. I started doing the donut shops since it comes with coffee. I'm happy hurricane season is almost over. I did a hotel during hurricane Faye this year...headed right towards it because I didn't want to flake. Luckily, Faye sort of meandered.

You'd be amazed at the impact Faye actually had. It seemed like more of an annoyance but I'm a Red Cross volunteer and it kept us very busy for a couple months!

Glad you were safe though!!

Michele, Kudo to you for working as a Red Cross volunteer. I looked into it, but ms'ing sucked up all my time. Faye never impacted
Tampa and I head out toward Faye's path along I-4; I ms'ed a hotel in Orlando. The 100' palms were swaying outside my 8th floor hotel windows; it got really nasty that night and the hotel guests mostly stayed indoors.

Hey, at least you had plenty of time to type your report while stuck in the room.

Thank You for your service thru the Red Cross!
I tried to get on working with them, the American Cancer Society and a few other charities and no one seems to want me. So I stay with doing troop support over in Tampa. On Fridays we wave flags late afternoon on BayShore, then I also work with HaleyHouse doing support with the Wounded Warriors and military families. The wounded guys never looked at me oddly when I was in the wheelchair or crutches as I was recovering. They even liked the red, white and blue cast when I had it.

Hello from Carrollwood! :)

I've been shopping for four years and I'm trying to get into merchandising too. I have lurked here for a while and just thought I would say hello.
