If they do pay me when they say they will I will take them off my 10 foot pole list. We shall see.

I got my payment yesterday. They take longer than I prefer (an average of 77 days), but their shops are decent places so I will continue to shop with/for them since they have not been late according to their guidelines in payment.

The communication has been really good for me.

Maybe calling them will help, supposedly we will be paid at the end of the month now, not holding my breath.

They seem to like ignoring e-mails. I haven't been paid for a shop I did back in May. They're in violation of their own company policies which state will be paid 90-120 days. It's Oct 21st, I did the shop May 15th, that's nearly 150 days.

The Expense Fee Form that you submit once you have completed a shop says, "All payments are scheduled to be made 10-12 weeks after your paperwork has been submitted and processed by the accounting department, not from the date of the shop."

If they don't send it to accounting, the clock hasn't started.

I am one of the many who were content to put up with the long waits for payment because 1)They seemed to always pay eventually and 2) I felt the value I received was worth the wait. However, I too am now getting impatient. I have 13 unpaid visits going back to May 1st.

It took three e-mail requests to get them to respond at all and the answer I finally got on Oct. 11th was, "We are researching this and will respond as soon as we have information from accounting." Have not heard anything since. Aargh!!

I finally got paid for my shop that I did back in May yesterday. Took about 6 e-mails and posting here before getting a response but I was paid. They even followed up to make sure that I received the payment.

The company is ok to work for, but having to wait so long for payment is frustrating. You know that their client isn't waiting 90-150 days to pay them, but they make us wait that long!

I guess I have been lucky with Freeman Group (knock on wood!) I have always gotten my payments right around the 90 day mark. Granted, I email them right at 90 days to inquire, but I get my payment within a week or two after that. I just got my payment for my July shops a few weeks ago. If I was still waiting on payments for shops done in May, I would be livid!

AndreaSarrah,

I am glad you are content with their system as to an extent I am as well. However, the POS president decided about this time last year that the late payments were unacceptable and he was going to get all of that fixed. Payments started going out and people were happy. NOW, he has proved that he is worthless and its back to the 6 month payment policy.

If you don't mean it, don't say it. He said it, he lied. He would have been better off to just say he is trying to make it better.

I agree with you. That letter made having to wait feel even worse. If this is them trying harder....what happens when they slack off.

My wife and I did a project for Freeman. We were promised reimbursement within 48 hours and submitting the report and pay within two weeks of them receiving the product back. We submitted our reports over the weekend and received reimbursement today just as promised! My "success" in receiving payments from them continues, something that I am extremely glad about. I like working with them because they either pay well or the shop is higher end than others. :-)

How on earth did you get them to pay within 2 weeks? I have yet to experience anything less than 6 months...
