Oh, but that couldn't be any of US because WE'RE so normal.

Phtbppppth.

Excuse me now, I have to duck back under my bridge.

I'm new and I'm here in South Orange County (shopping Irvine to San Clemente). Wish I could make it to the conference but I will be on vacation. Really finding it hard to get shops as a newbie. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Hi Socal Sue, I am about 10 minutes from you. We have a lot of great shoppers in this area. A lot of them don't post often, but they are here. Welcome!

I live in Martinez, CA and I work throughout the SF Bay Area . . . but with our current gas prices, I'm no longer making trips south of Newark or north of Vacaville!

Hi! I'm a N. CA shopper, a little bit north of Sacramento mostly. But sometimes I do make a trip to Sacramento and steal some of your jobs! Sorry Donna & Ccrissyy! Judging by the number of people at the gold conference last month, though, there must be a lot more N. CA shoppers lurking out there!

My perception of her changed drastically. (OK. Don't start guessing. It's not BarbGoodwin, KabeeCA or PaminCa.)

Hey Mary Lou ~
The same thing happened to me! There was a shopper that I had a few disagreements with on this board, and well, I was pretty nervous about meeting her.

Even though I thought her to be very bright, I thought it was going to be very uncomfortable. The opposite was true. When a group of us got together before the Gold, we started talking.

I feel that I have not only made a very good friend, but found someone that I highly respect as a shopper.
I would definitely refer her to any company that needs a shopper in her area. What a special lady she is! ~ Kim

I know there are more Ventura County shoppers that just me and Mrs. Kenna. Who are you all??? Or, Mrs. Kenna, are you getting ALL the fine dining shops? lol I keep applying and keep applying... I have to wait for someone to flake before I can swoop in and save the day.

Are there more of you out there? Honest, I won't tell...

Hello! Another So Cal shopper saying hi. :) I have a friend who shops near me too and it's nice to have someone who understands. Sometimes we compete for the same jobs but we like shopping different things and in slightly different areas!
