I know most of the top "chain/national" steakhouses are shopped. But, does anyone know if Morton's Steakhouse and Smith and Wollensky are shopped?

Thanks,
Jason

Yes, Morton's has been shopped in the past, but I haven't seen them posted lately.

Sorry about that Ray. I thought we discussed this before, but when I ran a search I mistakenly searched "Morton" but only in the subject line, not the body also.

my bad.

I see Smith and Wollensky shopped but have never done one because the closest is a few hours from me.

Yup, since posting the first msg several months ago I have shopped Smith & Wollensky. So just trying to figure out if Morton's is shopped. I'm told one company handles certain ones, not sure if the other locations are shopped by another company or not.

None, within 300 miles of me. No wonder I have never heard of them.

I have had the opportunity to visit many of the other top name steak houses and would love to shop either of these. I am just outside of NYC and I travel to many of the other major cities that they are located in. Schedulers, I would be happy to help.

I have seen a few steakhouses posted in recent months. Most are locally-based, and a handful owned by Paragon Steakhouse.

Wish some of these would consider NH or ME as a place to bring a location. We enjoy a good cut of meat too!

Does anyone know if Black Angus is shopped? I know that they have guest feedback surveys. I emailed the company, but I received no response.

Ruth's Chris is shopped?? My husband and I went to one in San Antonio on vacation a few years ago and I would LOVE to shop them! I checked their site and they have one in Nashville. I must not be signed up with this company because I've never seen or heard of this shop. I know how I'll be spending my Christmas break...

Okay, I have a question. Do these steak shops require an alcohol purchase?

Many times you are required to shop the bar in conjunction with a dinner shop. However, a non-alcoholic beverage can usually be purchased to meet the bar requirement.

Longhorn Steakhouse is shopped. There's a listing on Volition. No alcohol purchase required when I did them 1-2 years ago.

I have done the Ruth's Chris shop recently - and is great. A very large reimbursement, and since the restaurant is fairly pricey...I probably wouldn't eat there without getting paid to do so.
