The cheapest in my area ranged was $ 2.07 which I saw yesterday at a Wawa station to $ 2.17 for a high. Last week we were in MA and paid $ 2.31 a gallon which makes getting gas here feel like a bargain.

Jakki, NJ is less expensive because of the law that won't let you pump the gas yourself. I don't know why that affects the price of gas, but it does.

Here in PA, I've seen gas from $2.23 to $2.35. The $2.23 is at the Wawa near me, and I notice I always seem to fill my tank with fewer gallons there, too.

I paid $2.25 last night and was glad it came down a dime. It was $2.18 this morning. Of course, the first time I filled the tank on my first car it was 27 cents! Oh for the good old days. Of course, I was making a whopping $1.75 an hour, too!

$2.02 -pretty much average for around here in North GA and Southeast TN. Looking at everybody else's post I don't guess I have anything to complain about.

I ran out of gas in the River Oaks area today. Not a good place to do this...it cost me 2.38, and I was really miffed that I had not filled up before going into the most prestigious part of town.

Thinking ahead is important to beating these high prices...and I will be better prepared next time!!!

I think Lynda wins the prize because if my calculations are correct, that equals about $3.68 a gallon. OUCH!

The local SuperAmerica in St. Paul went from 2.27 as I left for my shops this morning to 2.08 as I returned. I left for dinner and it was 2.29 at the same station. The person in charge of changing the price really earned their paycheck today.

$2.04, the special members-only discount price at Sam's Club.

It's generally $2.23 - $2.29 elsewhere.

Happily shopping the Portland, Oregon metro area!

2.35, enough to make me think twice about driving across town for a 10 dollar shop. It's almost cost effective to sit on my couch instead.

$2.25-2.39.

I don't even look at the $10 shops and usually pass on the $15 shops.
