The stations in my area are $2.17 for a gallon of unleaded gas. The price has been dropping over the last month and I hope this trend continues!

I am paying around 2.29/gal. Still waiting for the prices to drop along the MS Gulf Coast. Since Hurricane Katrina, we have seen little changes in the gas prices. Over Thanksgiving, I was in Atlanta, GA & saw prices around 1.99/gal.

I don't know about your local gas companies, but oil prices are going higher right now. The fact that we're back closer to $2/gallon rather than still paying $3+/gallon is a break, IMO.

Best price in my area is $2.03 in Exton. The Wawa where I get my gas has held steady for two weeks now at $2.06. PLaces on the Main Line range from $2.17 to $2.24, except for one non-chain place at $2.09.

Greedy gas/oil companies have pushed the price back to $2.19 from $2.06 within a hour yesterday. They sure are willing to jack up the price real fast, but when it comes to lowering it, they make it a very slow process.

Have you all noticed that gas prices are going back up again? Just hit $3.00 at some stations here.

Ugh, it's awful! It's about $2.85 for regular unleaded now. The premium is above $3. And, they're predicting the prices will go WAY up by Memorial Day!

And to think...when this thread started, we were complaining about prices breaking the $2.20 mark!

I read in the paper today that the price of gas may go to $4.00+ before the end of the year. There goes my so called pocket change.

$2.84 more than I want to. Thankfully I have a hybrid car. Problem is I still drive 100 miles each day.

We hit $2.95 here in upstate NY. A little more than a week ago I paid $2.69. At this rate, $4.00+ seems closer than I want to imagine!

Bought gas this morning for 2.78 a gallon and on the way home a couple of hours later it was 2.82.

Happily shopping the Pensacola, Destin area and all of the beautiful Emerald Coast of Florida.

At Fairview and Edinger, I found it for 2.81 a gallon and that beat the 3.17 down the street.
