2.69 per gallon - way too much until you consider the alternative, either not going or going by bus - YUCK, YUCK, YUCK

$2.81 Baltimore, Maryland. I haven't noticed a lot of car pooling, but the bus stops and subway cars are starting to fill up.

3.29 at an Arco station if you paid cash. You have to remember they charge a 45 cent fee for debit and charge on top of the gas price.

Up today to $3.09 at most stations. Don't know what Costco or Sam's Club are charging.

Also noticed one station charging more for reg unleaded than for med grade unleaded - probably does not have his pumps cleaned out for [stupid] ethanol.

I filled my tank yesterday and it was 2.94. I could believe it took $ 29.00 to fill my 10 gallon tank. When I bought the car 3 years ago I could fill up on $12.00. Glad I am not doing any shopping right now, it wouldn't be worth it in my rural area over those mountains.

It's $3 here now. Or $2.99 99/100, as if the 1/100 of a penny makes any difference. I paid $27 and change today to fill my tank, the most I've ever paid.

I think that my only feel good remedy about the high price of gas is that I will only pump $20.00 dollars at a time. I will not let my tank go below a half tank. This is gonna have to work for me.
