I just filled up yesterday at Sam's Club in Fort Worth TX for $2.19 - the discounted price. (I then drove 140 non-reimbursable miles to take two of my kids to two different resident camps and will do this trip again on Friday to pick them up ) The average around here is now about $2.22.
This guy is just too happy for me! |

It's 2.08 at Wal-Mart, everywhere else it's 2.11 to 2.17 for the cheap stuff.

It's $2.24 here. Thank God my Blazer get's about 20 miles to the gallon. Our Farm truck has dual tanks and when I hand over a $100 bill, I don't get much change back. At least I can claim that on my taxes, but it doesn't help much when I stand there pumping.

I swear I don't even look anymore. I know which stations are always the cheapest and just stop, fill up on unleaded, and go on my merry way. I think I paid $2.23 last week, but I won't swear to it! |

The other day I drove by a gas station on my way to work at 7:00 in the morning and Regular was $2.21. When I came home a little after 3:30 in the afternoon it was $2.29. |

When I was in NJ earlier this week, gas was $2.21 - $2.28. Got back to PA, and it's $2.28 - $2.46. Doesn't seem to be much difference between them any more. |

It has gone down to $2.19 here the other day. The cheapest I've seen close to me is $2.17 and the highest $2.49, all within 12 miles of one another. |

At Casey's General Store, Super Unleaded is $2.09 and Reg. Unleaded is $2.16. My little car runs so much better on super unleaded and it is usually the higher one. It took me awhile to figure out why it was cheaper, it's because it's an ethanol blend. |

The Super around here is 10-15 cents HIGHER than Regular Unleaded. Are they ripping us off or what! |

Well, you want to hear something really sickening, I thought for about a month that they had their sign wrong. I then overheard some people at work talking about the Super being cheaper than the regular. I felt pretty stupid but I never dreamed it was really that way until I actually turned the pump on and that was the price that popped up. Good for us, not so good for everyone else that has to pay more for the same product..... |

Oddball changes from Thursday to Friday on the prices around here.
The gas station I use went DOWN from $2.31 to $2.26. The one a block away went UP from $2.28 to $2.34. And the one across the street from it has been at $2.36 steady all this time.
Meanwhile, a few miles away, it's still up around $2.46.
A little side story: I got gas today but had a problem with the pump. The guy who came to help me said it usually works on a second try. I told him I hadn't run into the problem before, and that's my regular place for gas, so I was surprised. "Yeah, I come here all this time," I told him. "This is my gas station." And he actually got misty eyed over my customer loyalty! And this is a chain, not a place he owns or anything. Well, that made my day, that he'd care enough to be touched by that. |

I paid $2.26/gal yesterday in Kissimmee, but have seen the stations in Lake Buena Vista [closer to the entrances to Disney] charging as much as $2.58/gal for regular unleaded. |
