They probably are preparing for holiday travelers. Although with the economy how many people are actually going anywhere for Thanksgiving?

$1.76 yesterday at some stations (most were at $1.79-$1.82). With the SA 5 cent discount when you use their rewards card, it made it $1.71. How cheap is that?!?!

The cheapest here is $1.89. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. I'm afraid if people go back to their old driving habits the price will go back up.

Two days ago ^ I posted I was waiting to put gas in my car. Guess who will be filling up today because it's under $2.00/gal now? ($1.94)

This is almost too good to be true..and you know what that means!

It hasn't dropped in my town for about a week now. But the stations that were still at or just over $2.00 a gallon have dropped to just under $2.00 a gallon. So that is a good thing.

Gas just dropped to $2.11, and it goes up to 2.35. Filled her up for the first time, cost 30.00, compared to the 65.00 I was paying. I live in Los Angeles, CA.

If anyone told me I would see the price of gas drop from $5.15/gal to $1.85 in the same year, I would have thought they were delusional. Gas prices range from $1.85 in Richmond to $4.09 near the SFO.
