There is a major 'freak out' going on in Charleston, SC. There was a rumor that the gas stations were going to close at noon. So everyone and their brother flocked to the gas stations. The police are having a hard time keeping things at bay.

Gas was at $1.11 here today. It's jumped quite a bit today. I think that is the equivalent of $3.56 for you guys in the US.

I found a station last night for $2.67, it's $3.29 this morning. They're all gone mad. I remembers when it went for 33 CENTS a galon when I was a kid and people made a profit then. What in the world happened???

33 cents? Gosh, TAX alone is more than that on a gallon of gasoline..

$2.89 a gallon... that's IF you can find it. Cops at the stations. We have a motorcycle... hubby will start taking it to work whenever he can.

Something has to be done..... some of those millionaires need to give something back.

Gas prices are going through the roof....then you see a Hollywood actress thinking she's doing such a great deed by donating one of her gowns to be auctioned for $25,000. Hollywood and the sports starts are so out of touch with reality. Everywhere you turn there are TV shows about how the rich peple live. I am starting to find it absolutely sickening.

I can get gas for 62.7 cents a liter, but I've seen places that already have it at 72.7 cents. There is a gas station in the metro area that has gas for 85.7 cents a liter. That's like 3.24 a gallon! It's really insane....maybe PR should do a civil disobedience and buy oil from Venezuela....

Shopping Puerto Rico! I wanna merchandise too. Help!

I just paid $ 2.99 at an Exxon. Most others around here are over 3 dollars. I heard on the radio this morning that we should expect another 50 cent increase by tomorrow morning. So if you need gas go now. You don't know what it will be tomorrow. I only needed just under half a tank and spent 16 dollars. I don't know how much more I can take. Think about it, EVERYTHING will start going up real soon. Vendors will have higher costs they will pass on. At this point I'm just going to work and keeping all other travel to a minimum.

Our stations are running out of gas here, and there is word that there will be none trucked in till Tuesday or later. People here went crazy! Filling up truck beds full of gas cans. It is a mess here. I think it is the Lords way of saying "HEY!, what was wrong with the 'OLD' way of doing things?" I'm willing to go back to horse and buggy, Hey, maybe it will teach some of us to slow down and get back to basics.

I'm not asleep....I'm checking for light leaks! :)
