Has anyone done work for RMP mechandising? What is your feedback, and experience with them?
RMP stands for Retail Merchandising Partners out of Georgia. They seem use NARMS.

| If this is RMP in Deluth avoid them like the plague unless you enjoy working for free. They continue to lie to you and tell you that your check has been mailed. It has been 8 weeks and still no pay for either myself and another in the same town. They have used every stall tactic and lie they could think of. I have just filed a lawsuit against them and have turned paper work in concerning the Texas payday law violations to my lovely state of Texas. This has yeilded good results before. In Texas if you violate the payday law your bank accounts are frozen and you are fined $10,000 per offense. Your bank account is also not released until those harmed are "satisfactorily paid" which includes any and all damages. I am not sure how this is done across state lines but was assured at the employment office that this will be taken care of. |

Oh yes, I've talked them on the phone and email. Saved all my email that I've gotten from them, saying they mailed my check. (One lady accidently hit reply instead of forward and was VERY RUDE). Talked to them once more yesterday, our checks are supposed to be overnighted. We'll see if anything actually shows up!!! |

| Has anyone else taken the Pillsbury/Betty Crocker project? Sounds like easy money, but if others have had payment issues I am leary! |

Just be careful and watch that they pay you for the work you have completed. I was paid later than one month after completing my assignments and was shorted pay for one job Not a real big deal but could be a problem if they report my wages higher than I do and if the pay had been for a large amount. Just keep your books straight so you will know you have been paid correctly.

I usually don't post on a bad experience, but I will make an exception. I had only worked for this company once many years ago. I was offered some last minute work doing some inventory date audits. I was assigned eight of them. I completed the first five within a matter of a couple days. Enroute to my last three the next day (well within my deadline), I received a phone call with a family emergency. I have a disabled daughter who is very prone to bad infections and she had to be rushed to a hospital. On the same day, my wife loses a friend, who was like a brother. The first thing I did was email the company and offered to send verification on the situation. I explained I was not aware at this point if I was going to be gone for the day or several. I was deactivated. This is the RMP based in Georgia. **Update** After receiving only partial payment, I emailed the scheduler and asked about the remainder of my paycheck. My emails were ignored. I then went to the their homepage and emailed, the company president, and did a cc to the scheduler. The president responded within 2 days and said the check was being processed and would be here in a few days and said she was sorry about the error. The next day I get an email from the scheduler and she was going to pay me even though they were late. I then replied to her with my confirmtion codes and the email she sent me when I could complete them with her due dates she gave to me. I received the check yesterday. |

So Retail Merchandising Professional out of Duluth Georgia is the same as the title of this thread yes? Well I was sent candy/magazine rack resets and accidentally removed my name from their list. But not before emailing and asking what dates the resets were and have not heard back yet.
Any new info on this company?? Thank you!! |

| Does anyone have any updates concerning this company. I just read over the old postings & was a little curious as to see how things are with this company now. They contacted me about doing some jobs for them directly. I see that they haven't posted anything on NARMS about there jobs. (makes me wonder) Any updated feedback would be appreciated...Thanks.... |
