Does anyone have ideas on how to minimize gas usage on a gas stove that comes with pilot lights? Does less gas leak out if you blow out the pilot lights than if you leave them on? Is there any way to prevent gas from leaking out when the stove is turned off. I hate this wastage of gas, as my gas bill is quite high. I am in an apartment, and the landlord will not replace the stove.
