Did you sign up? It looked good, but then after I clicked on the confirmation, I get a page saying "No Surveys Yet. You must complete the three-part introductory series before you begin taking surveys and earning money. Please check your email and ensure you are receiving these important emails." I haven't gotten any "introductory" emails yet and the page has a "members only" discount ad and an ad for some college scholarship contest and home degrees. Waiting for the spam to start coming Hoping I'm wrong, but it seemed a bit too good to be true. |

I did sign up. Don't know yet if I am happy with that decision.
I got the first email. They want you to sign up for more info on getting a degree. |

I signed up and didn't even read the first introductory email, the one that is a part of 3. I received 11 spam emails in my INBOX, not spam folder as soon as I signed up. |

Weird. I got Part II. It was just a long email about standards. There were no links or ads in the email, and I haven't noticed any more spam than usual. It said to watch for part III. I wonder if there is going to be a quiz after part III. It seems strange to me to call a couple of long emails training without some kind of quiz. But if there is a quiz, I didn't really read their email very carefully. |

| I just got the same email Kelly. At first I thought they would have me click a link and have to sign up for something that cost $. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not that though. I am still a bit leery, but not as much as yesterday. |

I have not got part 3 yet. But if this company is legit then the surveys they have waiting for me pay really good. One was a 45min survey for 65.00 and a 30min one for 25.00 and a short one for 5.00. I sure hope they pay! |

| Well I got all three emails as of last night. I went to the website right now, clicked on Members Area (very tiny at bottom of page) and there is a paid survey ($15) waiting for me to evaluate a website/software! |

Yeah, but that third email said that might happen. At least they are upfront about it. |

| I just feel like this is a company like Inbox or those others that want you to sign up for offers to get paid the bigger bucks. I hope I'm wrong.:( |

I got the same "survey." I'm okay with giving my credit card to a reputable company, and the offer says that it won't be charged within the trial period. But I am calling the second they open tomorrow to cancel (Just missed their service hours by 10 minutes), because I don't want to be shipped the free scale and then have to ship it back later. I guess maybe they would be good if you have a business where you mail a lot of stuff out, but the monthly fees are crazy for someone like me.
I'm hoping this is kinda more of a web mystery shopping deal where you may have to pay upfront but then get reimbursements and fees. Still very wary of it though. The $50 payout level seems very high. |

I'm not at all happy with this company...yes you recieve surveys but all 6 I have got so far want you to sign up and give your credit card # and if you have to pay a sign up fee like for date.com they give it back plus $10...whoopie! If you have the dough to fork out for all the sign ups then go for it but this company just wants you to sign up for the offers not really a survey deal to me! |

| I still am not sure if this is some sort of scam for them to earn affiliate money or what. I don't mind the fees to acquire the products if it is for a legitimate survey or mystery shop, but all of these seem to be offers where your credit card will be charged a large amount automatically if you don't cancel exactly the way they say in the fine print. They seem to have one standard survey that doesn't change and all the questions don't even make sense for every web site. Since I've put so much time into it already, I'm completing my third shop tonight. That will give me around $66 ($35 profit). We'll see if they pay out. Still I'm not sure if I'll continue working with them, just because I doubt the honesty of what they are doing. |

I have since kept my profile on Vindale and I still get surveys I have seen 12-14 in my box so far....ALL wanting me to sign up with a credit card and pay a fee then later they reemburse you plus a small amount for that...I don't like posting my CC# here there and everywhere when I think of a survey they should wave the fee and just pay you for your time and report. JMO
I know they send you a warning ahead of time about the CC# might be needed for some campains but I have not seen one yet that I didn;t need it |

I found it most interesting. When I got an email which told me what to do and then my account would be credited, I went ahead and reported the information to the company that was the affiliate in the matter, their response is, he's permitted to do so. To pay members to sign up under his affiliate links.
This site doesn't really have anything to do with surveys, it's just a very cleaver way for him to earn a lot of money off people signing up his links. If you get paid, great. But a $50 payout to him is nothing to what he's earning I can tell you that much.
So, thank you for this site and info and I hope my response has been helpful. I shall add it to my list of sites not to join. |

| I have not received any surveys from this company since I posted on 3/23 that was the last time I received any "surveys"! So glad because I wasn't going to take them. |

I haven't signed up for this company or went to this website yet but just from reading the posts, I think this is "sugging". Sugging is "Selling Under the Guise" of market research. From the Marketing Research Association:
SUGGING: The use of a marketing research survey to attempt to sell to the public. The misuse of the survey process compromises legitimate marketing and opinion research surveys conducted by professionals. It also causes distrust among the public and affects the reliability of all public opinion research. The government has legislation outlawing telemarketing calls selling under the guise of research. The Council for Marketing and Opinion Research (CMOR) is very active in the protection of marketing and opinion research and the public opinion. http://www.mra-net.org/resources/abuse.cfm
It says using telemarketing for this purpose is illegal. Online surveys for this purpose are probably just considered "unethical" but I'll look into it more. |

Yeah, I consider what they are doing highly unethical. I have earned $66 dollars with them, but I also have had to spend $30 some dollars for sign up fees. Oh, and they only pay out in $50 increments. I have requested payment twice and sent them two emails, and I have received no reply. Their web site says they pay on the 15th and last day of the month and that they send an email. I am about ready to start looking into who I can report this company to.
All of the companies whose offers I completed were ones where they sign you up for automatic billing, and in some cases you need to send a product back so that you can cancel. If you decide to do this, I recommend being very, very careful to make sure you follow the directions and time guidelines for unsubscribing. Otherwise, you could easily get slapped with another charge on your credit card for something you don't want. |

The bad thing is this company has godaddy's privacy lock. Great for private people like me (I have it to on my domain) but a business that takes your info like this one should have nothing to hide.
See who is info:
Registrant: Domains by Proxy Inc. Registered through: GoDaddy.com Domain Name: VINDALE.COM Domain servers in listed order: NS1.EAPPS.COM NS2.EAPPS.COM For complete domain details go to:
And that's all that was listed.
Sorry to hear you spent 30 to earn 60. And how much did he make I wonder.
Sounds like it might be time to report him to the bbb.org |
