Beware of Dollar General's prices! Of four items I bought, two rang up at prices higher than what was posted on the shelves. Yes, I got my money back but only because I thoroughly checked the receipt. And this was, by far, not the first time. Many people don't check and Dollar General must be making big bucks nationwide by misleading people with signange stating a certain price, then charging more. Be very careful!!

I really liked the 99 Cents Only Stores. For the most part everything was only 99 cents. Lately I have noticed a lot more things at $1.99, or $2.99, etc.

I just read that Dollar General is buying out the 99 Cents Only Stores and I am wondering if they are bringing in their way of pricing and combining it with the 99 cents concept.

It won't be the same. It will be just another Dollar General as far as I am concerned.
