It has something to do with the Post Office. It has nothing to do with Spar>>> so yes it would be. I have not been paid and been paid late by many companies for many years and for many reasons. People make mistakes. I know I do. Once I was sent a check for $600 and it was not signed. What did I do? I waited til I got a check that was signed. We have to take the good with the bad ...for merchandising or anything else in life. I work for several companies...always have and always will.[/purple]

My DS sent out an email telling everyone to go to the "submit a comment" on your dashboard and put in it Direct Deposit. She also asked all her people to send her an email with direct deposit in the subject line, and she would forward all them to the proper person.

On spar's facebook page a lot of people are asking for direct deposit.

McBarb: How did you manage to get a pay raise?
I have been asking for one for 7 years in a row and my answer is always the same. Spar is not giving raises due to the econmoy.
I have been with them for 18 years now.

I asked for a raise as I work for the pharmacy division and the division that does the Dollar stores etc. The minimum wage went up to $8.75 an hour.....I asked for a raise based on that. It all depends on where you live.

Now Spar has a overtime lawsuit against them for possible wage violations.
I got a letter in the mail today from a Nichols Kaster Lawyer. Saying that if you worked more then 40 hours a week in the past 3 years then you can make a claim for unpaid wages, and you have to fill out and return a plaintiff consent form to join the suit.

I haven't gotten more then 10 hours a week from spar in the past 3 years and since Dec 2015 I have done 1 job for them.

I stopped working for Spar a few years ago because of the lack of direct deposit. I guess that is progress but I doubt I would work for them again.

Is there a site regarding the class action lawsuit for back pay?
Thank you for the information if you have it, please email me as I dont think its allowed here

I received back pay from Crossmark after a long class action suit..

Ridiculous.. M

I saw next round of DG visits/ship notification on status page the other day, but today they're not there.
Did they cancel the visit?

I was told about the upcoming projects and we will be doing Driveline's jobs at F$. Some stores will have services weekly for greeting cards ....not my store.

All the F$ in my area already have a merchandiser, that was suppose to have taken over them for a couple of weeks after I had surgery last year. And the darn DM gave them the stores on a permanent basis. Got a new DM a couple months later but was told, sorry the old DM hired that person to do them, and we can't very well take them away from them, to give back to you."
But that is how they treat people even after being with them for 20 years. Just another warm body.
