While we are awaiting feedback on their craft audits, how about their announced snack audits with photos? It says it will take 2-3 hours. Has anyone done these? Difficult? Time-consuming? Worth $25?

Thanks.

I applied for this one, yesterday. Still waiting. I have done other photo audits for them. One was an ice cream shop with photos. They have 2 sets of paper work to print out. One with the questions and another is like a cheat sheet with photos showing what they are looking for, under the counter, drains etc. The only thing is you have to work from both sets of paperwork, since some of the questions on the questionairre are not on the cheat sheet. I did a lot of back and forth with papers to make sure I did not forget something. Then you have to edit all those pics, 110 of them. You can not just put them into a folder, since some pics are close to another question, so you have to make sure you have the right pic to go with the question. I just find it easier to name them. On my camera program, I just clickk on Best for Web and give a name it usually matches the question ##. Then all the pics are in order. Hope this helps.

I disagree with favorable ratings of this company. I have a very nice scheduler, but an editor is stiffing me on a very long, very involved auto dealership report.

I had one typo about which the editor called AND e-mailed me. I fixed it right away, and added a little narrative for clarification. The shop was completed on August 5th with a three-day delay built in for dealership to follow up; the editing was completed on August 11th. It is now one month later, and the editor has simply NOT "finalized" my job! I spent four hours total on this shop, and the regular sixty- to ninety-day delay in getting paid will now be more like 115 days, and I have received NO reply to three e-mail inquiries about this job.

I'm pretty sure I won't ever accept another job from this company.

Funny you should say that, Avery. I just wrote on another topic: I had always liked IntelliShop. A recent shop asked my opinion about something. I gave it, based on such and such. They wrote back to me saying not to included the such and such. I wrote back that I didn't know, since I could not base it on such and such. They gave me an 8 instead of my usual 10. I am not happy. I certainly don't think I should be downgraded because I could not decide after they removed the two factors that I would have shopped there. Hmph. Same editor?

Thanks for the heads up on the Avery, I was disappointed when the location near me was already taken. I had just purchased a 10-year old car and it the perfect shop for getting it checked over and updated.

I found out that part of the problem is that this assignment changed schedulers exactly during the time I was doing the edit. Secondly, although the original scheduler always replied to e-mails immediately, the new scheduler does not, and the editor also does not.

I finally heard back from the new scheduler that the shop is scheduled to be paid, but, get this... When I log into the site, it still shows up as "incomplete" instead of "finalized." This kind of aggravation I don't need on top of all of the time I spent trying to make my report as good as possible.

On the other hand... If you are looking to buy a new car, or if you need your car serviced, these ARE useful and interesting assignments.

I know there have been some questions already about payment issues with this company. I'm fine with waiting 60 days or so as long as I know that upfront. My question is just that someone mentioned payment being between the 21st and the 31st of the month and I have a shop showing as payment pending. Do they usually list this just as a way to let you know that everything is finalized and you will get paid eventually or should I expect something soon?

I'm not worried about it. Just curious since this is my first shop with them and every company seems to show their payment info differently. Thanks for any clarification that you could give!! :)

I've done audits for then on and off for years. All my payments have been posted on PayPal on the 10th-12th of the month immediately following the shop editing. I have never had to wait the stated 60+ days, but the company is known for being very slow to edit reports.

My only beef with Intellishop is their constant and continuous bombardment of emails about shop listings. Yesterday I got the same listing, same shop and locations, 3 times within 36 minutes.

I have only performed two shops for this company. Both were paid two months after job completion. May job/paid July and August job/paid October. I was paid on the 20th for one job and the 21st for the other.

I go back and forth. I like the type of shops they offer, but the length of time they take to pay is just ridiculous. I just got paid yesterday for a shop I completed in September. It'd be one thing if there were no reimbursements, just shopper pay, but I spent $40. It's not like I can't cover $40, but two months is a long time to wait. I just don't understand why it takes that long.

Also, the emails. I notice with all Sassie companies, you get emails even if your state isn't listed. You'd think they could use filters or something. It's a real pain in the butt to get 15 emails for Anchorage and Seattle locations when you live in Ohio.

I've had limited experience with this company, but so far it's all neutral to negative.

My first job was a parking shop where reimbursement was $7. I got to the location, & the minimum charge for parking was $9. I emailed them immediately when I submitted the shop to let them know of the discrepancy. It took something like a week for them to verify that I was being honest about the amount I paid.

They seem to have an attitude that shoppers lie and cheat and show shoppers very little respect.

There's an oil change shop available right now. I applied yesterday and answered the question on make and year of vehicle. In the response box, I also asked if they offered any gas money since this shop is 100 miles round trip for me.

I received no response; my application was deleted; and the due date for the shop has now been extended.

This isn't 'horrible' behavior, but I feel it's disrespectful to not acknowledge a question from a shopper.

This company does not make my top 10 and I wouldn't recommend them.

Does anyone know if they are still doing the We Card shops? They have disappeared in the Michigan area.

Is anyone else having trouble getting their social security number "Verified"? Mine has been pending for some time now (way more than the 1-4 business days it states). I tried emailing and the automated response said I may or may not get a reply to my question. Any ideas? Thanks.

YES and it's getting VERY annonying....I'm pretty sure I'm deleting this site from my shopping lists for 2009.

If a shop is listed and you ask "Is there a bonus?" or someting similar regarding extra money they will just ignore you....there is always another shopper behind you who won't expect/ask for additional dollars.

I wanted to take one of their car dealership shops but the instructions say you have to make over 60K . I would like to know what difference that makes. I don't have to make 60K to be able to act like I do!

Uh Oh, I just completed my first shop for them two days ago. They were super quick in letting me know that my shop evaluation had been "approved" and what score I received....I was hoping that I would receive payment & reimbursement just a quickly but looks like I might have to until Spring to see any money from them

You should get paid at the end of March. I try to get the jobs that don't require reimbursements so the $$ aren't tied up too long.
