Anyone familiar with this company? They appear to be a new Prophet company.

I got the e-mail too. They stated that they got the contact info from the Prophet master list.

I got one too. I think I'll let it ride for a little while. If they are a new company the extra time lets them work out the kinks with the system and scheduling.

I got the email also. I went to apply and found out I was already in their system. How did that happen?

When I signed up with my first Prophet software using company I read a message that by signing up with one you are automatically signed up with all Prophet using companies. The information is shared.
Saves a lot of entering of data - I wish Sassie did that too!

Sheila, I've had to resign up for every Prophet company. It hasn't ever shared my information between sites before. However, I tried to sign up with the Wireless company today, and it does say that my email address has already applied, so I'm confused now.

I am interested if anyone has actually completed any shops for them. My experience so far has been far from smooth.

I have done a number of shops for them. If you do not get the associate name you dealt with you will not be paid. Many of the locations shopped are savvy to shoppers and wear no name tags and will dodge the usual methods for getting names. So far I have seen only one client for them. Somewhere--whether it is client or MSP--location status is often incorrect because the target location has closed or moved. Payments are made when scheduled, so no problems there.

This was precisely the problem that I was having with a location being incorrect. I went to one, and while it still had the correct sign on the building, it was like a vacated warehouse inside. I have tried calling the number and got a perpetual busy signal. I have had several frustrating and fruitless attempts at communicating about this with the scheduler. Many companies are good at giving some kind of compensation for problems like this, but I am being treated like my shop is overdue.

My computer crashed at the end of applying the other day. Could someone PM me the email address I'm supposed to send a confirmation to? :(

This is the address of the scheduler I have had interactions with. Let me know how your experience goes once you do a shop.

I accepted an assignment for a cell phone assignment for Wireless Store Shopper and completed it. BUT - the city and zip code were not correct. In fact, few if any of the cities and zip codes are correct. I verified the correct city by searching the cell phone provider's web site and looking for the street address.

I hope I actually get paid for completing the assignment. I was not able to change the address, or even indicate that it was wrong. I did send the Wireless Store Shopper scheduler an email.

Anyone else accept any of these? Or end up puzzled by the address issues and decide not to?

Harvey S,

I just accepted a few incentive shops from them. I am wondering if you have learned anything new of this company since you replied on 10/10?

Wish me luck! All I have to lose is my time and a little gas :)

Michelle L.

I completed my first assignment on October 10th and was paid on October 20th. I have subsequently done 2 additional assignments. In general, the requirements have been reasonable and the fees have been reasonable also. There was some confusion about addresses on the first assignment, but I picked one, corrected the address, did it, and then told them what I had done. I was thanked. A good company to deal with so far.

I would gladly accept more assignments. Hope that helps. Good luck.

I did a wireless provider shop for this company on the 7th of October and got paid on the 20th. (!) I didn't have any trouble completing the assignment, and the address was correct. So far, so good!

My only complaint: I accepted the shop even though the details covered in the training were not available in the (very lean) shop instructions. I figured I'd just go back and review the training before I went, which I always do anyway, for any shop. I could not find that training anyplace. No link, nothing. I had completed training at least a week earlier and my week-long memory is, to say the least, crap.

I was a little worried that I wouldn't remember all the instructions, but was glad that the survey form had questions like: "When you asked [something very specific], what was the response?" That was my only clue that I had to ask [something very specific] during the shop.

Apart from that, though, they were very easy to work with, the survey forms are straightforward, and (at least for this gig) there wasn't pounds of narrative to provide, which is always a plus.

Anyone get paid for shops that they have completed yet? According to the message on their Prophet log-in page:

"ATTENTION ALL SHOPPERS!

This pay cycle will be delayed by one business day to 11/16 due to the Veteran’s Day holiday. We are very sorry for the delay."

It's now 11/16, and I haven't received anything to my PayPal account today yet. Just curious if anyone else has received anything . . .

I received payments on Oct 20 and Nov 3 for assignments I completed in October. I have not received payment for assignments done as early as Nov 1st, but I see no reason for concern yet. As it is, their payments have been significantly faster than many other companies.

Well, I just received payment in my Paypal acount for all shops that I completed prior to 11/8. However, it did not include the bonus promised to me for 2 that I completed at the end of October. I have e-mailed the contact listed from the Paypal payment with assistance on this.

I am very happy and quite pleased to have received payment in such a timely manner since this is my first time working for this company. Based upon this, I would recommend working for them.

Just wanted to pass along the good news . . . as well as go sign up for more of these shops!
