Do Pinkerton and Global Compliance now compete with one another then?

Global Compliance does not do any mystery shops. The mystery shops they used to do seem to have gone over to Service Intelligence which they bought about a year ago along with a few shops that were not mystery. I would not consider them competitors.

Can someone please help? I registered with them several months ago and can log on to their site by using my name and password, but all that comes up is information about different projects and the survey forms. I do not see any shop board or anything that looks like shops available. I have tried every link in this thread. Is this a company that only assigns shops by special email invitation? Thanks for your help.

If you click on one of the projects, it will bring up a different screen that you can submit your request for that job. I am too old for the beer survey. If you can't click on the project name, I would suggest using a different browser.

I went to the Pinkerton link provided above and was shocked to see that they don't want MSers born before 1960.

I didn't know that might be an issue for this grandma of 4. LOL

Ida,

Was your post.."I went to the Pinkerton link provided above and was shocked to see that they don't want MSers born before 1960"..directed toward a particular assignment or in general?

Greetings,

I just went to the site to fill out an application. A date of birth is a required field to fill out and the calender does not allow you to select a year before 1960. Age discrimination?

Guy,

Try entering a date without using the calendar and see if it takes.

Greetings,

The calender pops up as soon as I get to that field. I tried selecting blank date and that did not work. I then selected today's date and it went through. We will see if they contact me asking why a newborn registered with them

I used to see some postings for "house sitting" posted from Shadow Shopper but haven't seen any lately. I would love to do some.

Guy, I think you can find whatever's listed directly on the site. I'm looking to do a similar thing in my area and am waiting for my signed contract to reach them so I can select assignments.

Greetings,

I did sign up recently using the current date. I was just called about a job here in town so I guess they had no problem with a "newborn" working for them.

The women that called me was very nice. She told me to bring a book and a chair. I forgot to ask how I get in there. I assume they mail me a key????

No. Read your instructions. It is very clear how you get your keys. They are in the box and they provide you with a code. I love these assignments.

Greetings,

I don't see any instructions on the web site and I haven't gotten an email from them yet. I will probably call or send them an email soon. I know she mentioned that I am supposed to make copies of a sheet to hand out also.

It should be listed under the claim projects.
