I have only seen/done the restaurant reimbursement shops here in New Jersey. They are very reasonably reimbursed for the amount of food I eat! There is a 90 day rotation, so I am looking forward to the next time I am able to do this shop. The report was super easy. I wanted to leave more narrative, but it wasn't even called for.

Is it possible to update the name of this forum since the company changed names?

Looks like for now they're actually referencing both names -- just pulled up a shop offer email from Jan 25th and it read

"Reality Based Group™ (formerly GameFilm® Consultants)"

The shop is easy enough, and they do pay, but their scheduler doesn't seem to know how to answer e-mails. You know you've been ignored when the job you e-mailed about the day before is reposted the next day, and the scheduler made absolutely no effort to answer your e-mail concerning that posting.

To me, that tells me the company really doesn't care about the shopper at all, they just want to get it done and it doesn't matter who does it as long as it's done and they get paid for it (And only offers reimbursement for the shopper. After all, reimbursements mean they don't have to pay the shopper anything to do it so they keep their entire fee that they charge).

The scheduler in my area is always extremely prompt when I email. I usually get a shop confirmation back within a few minutes. I've done the same casual dining restaurant shop many times. It's on a 90 day rotation so I do it just about every 90 days. I like this one because I can take my young kids along with me (I checked before I took them) since it's a family-friendly restaurant. The shop itself is simple and straightforward. Never had a problem with payments.

Love this company. I do their casual dining assignments and accessory chain assignments on rotation. Prompt responses, no questions from editors, super prompt payment as scheduled. A pleasure.

Have any of you done the Electronic Pricing Audit that they have going now? The suckered me in last weekend, but they do not have the brains to tell you the items your looking for are the ones that are old and they probably won't have many. I spend almost an hour trying to find 40 models only to find a few in the clearance section. And the price is a sucker too... they pay $0.19 a line, but they were nice and paid me $10 for my hour. And the spend a dollar doesnt work. Don't think I found anything for $1.

From their website:
http://www.realitybasedgroup.com/shopper_faq

How long does it take to get paid and /or reimbursed for my shop?

Typically payment of shopper fees are made a month after the shop is completed on the 20th of the following month. Ex. If you completed the shop in August, reimbursement or payment will be submitted on/around 20th of September into your paypal account.

How will I receive my payment?

First, you should answer YES to the question on your profile, "Will You Accept Paypal Payments" Set up a Paypal account with the same email address as your shopper log in by selecting What is PayPal? on the profile application. You may visit PayPal to set up an account.

Nothing from them in my PayPal account today.

Yes, absolutely the servers line dance. About once every hour.
One server explained to me that when they hear the music, they have one minute to get to the line.

I would say there is a 50/50 chance that there will be dancing.
