To provide better service in alerting the American people to unsafe, hazardous or defective products, six federal agencies with vastly different jurisdictions have joined together to create www.recalls.gov -- a "one stop shop" for U.S. Government recalls.

Look up past recalls on this site.

Be among the first to receive new recalls and safety information electronically. Enroll in this free service by signing up for direct notification of recalls from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Food & Drug Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Thanks for the posting. We had just purchased both and the bags were still in the recycle bin. We pour them into plastic bins to keep the food fresh and the creatures out of the bags.

I dug through the recycle bin, eventually found the top right corner of the dogfood bag, which had been cut off to pour easily, and the dogfood was on the list. The cat food was safe, though.

I appreciate the posting. It may have saved us a lot in vet bills and possibly people med bills, too.
