I am doing an easy assignment in a KMart store and I have around 11 locations to do. Not high paying but this was explained up front that this is a new client, so you know how that goes. I am easily fitting this in with other work I have in the area. Plus they do offer direct deposit which is handy.

I was hired this past week and told $50/assignment or $12 to flip out stickers & signs. I've been looking but have nothing available in my area.

I signed up and have not had any work through them yet. I have also merchandised for National retail group a third party scheduler that actually assigns project based merchandising work and then IOsmart and ddp holdings is where your check comes from. The web site for insmart and ddp holdings shows NO projects but NRG has work for their companies

Here's the latest scuttlebutt that I've heard as of a few weeks ago, they recently bought out CSA (Carolina service Associates) they are a division of DDP Holdings, a lot of ???s on that, I was told that they got a major contract merchandising in Lowe's, all the other merch. cos. are going to resets/re-merch positions, they operate under the Dedicated Merchandising concept, you get so many stores to service and that's it, unless you're needed elsewhere, they use what they call a "flex" position for project work, flat rate I understand.
Everyone that worked for them in the last few years really haven't had any of the problems that I did when I first worked for them other than lack of time to complete projects, I'm familiar with their "old" management, new I'm not sure.
They are associated with Mide which has also gotten more of the Lowe's projects, check them out for yourself and see, let all know what you find out, me I look for the work and pay without hassles, we currently are in negotiations for 2 different projects (5-weeks on 1, 8 weeks on the other) we'll go for the best deal for us, as I've said before, figure all your costs, travel and such and you won't get burned, sometimes you won't get a response but don't worry about it, if they need the work done and you have the references they'll gladly pay, just do your part and they'll call you back! The wife likes it when a company calls and asks what we'll need to go here or there, and they pay too!

After reading this thread I went ahead and applied online. I got a very quick reply back with a link to the new hire paperwork. I really like companies like this have a well organized online process for getting the paperwork and submitted.

Of course the true test is whether I get any work. I hope they hired me because they know they have work to be done in my area.

Has anyone gotten paid yet or do you know when the pay schedule is? I cannot seem to find that info on the site anywhere.

I haven't gotten any jobs yet; but, if you go to resources on their NaturalInsight website, you will find their pay schedule. It is every other week with a one week lag. Next payday is the 19th.

I still have not worked for them, the flip chart thing did not happen in my area, and all that I have been offered is the must lift 75-100 lbs jobs at Lowes. I am sorry but I cant/wont lift that much.My choice though.

Right there with you Kelly! I kept getting the mass emails almost every day for like 2 weeks saying everything is "coming soon". I sent the emailer a notice letting her know that I had logged on like twice a day for two weeks and nothing was in my area. Then I got 2 offers! Roanoke and Eufala, AL...problem is I live in Georgia. So 45 and 115 miles away, with no drive time and mileage...=nuh uh!! :) I'll keep holding my breath and maybe something will show up soon. Meantime Crossmark and PRS are keeping with about 45 hrs/week.

I have a question if anyone has done the kmart flip chart and I know it is to late to email my supervisor. I printed out the service call form and the two other forms from the project instruction link. However the call forms questions about the merchandisers performance is the same as the one for Touchpoint. I hate to have to ask management to fill in the same 2 questionaires. Is the call form from Ion Smart enough?

I have my first one scheduled for Monday and didn't think I would hear back from anyone by then. I'll just do both and hope for the best.

I have my KMart tomorrow. Let's hope it goes smoothly. It's my first job for this company although I have three of the cardboard displays this week as well.

2 weeks have passed since they made me an offer of employment. I have completed my paperwork and verified it several times. I am still receiving emails reminding me to turn in my paperwork, called Omega. They said I should receive an email next Friday, which is the same thing that I was told about last Friday and today. Any suggestions?
