MitchellC,

When you have a route with them, do they offer drivetime and mileage?

Thank you all for your comments.
My reference to our Facebook site was, specifically, to the NOTES section. Under the NOTES section are instructions on how to apply to be a merchandiser through our website, or if already a merchandiser, who to contact about upcoming projects.

I don't like to abuse the hospitality of our host, Volition, by posting long posts when the information is on the Facebook site. Apollo Retail announces upcoming projects on Facebook but we DO NOT hire through Facebook. All applications MUST come through our very secure online application site. This link is available at the top of www.apolloretail.com.

Apollo Retail specializes in project work. Our main thrust is new store sets, resets, remodels and category resets. In smaller markets this means our work is very much on a part-time, occasional basis. Larger markets may offer more frequent work. We now have new continuity servicing projects in the eastern portion of the USA. We understand with the part-time, occasional nature of our work that your life goes on if we don't have work available. A merchandiser is never penalized for declining work.
I monitor this site on a regular basis. If you aren't on Facebook, feel free to post here and I'll answer.

I think Premium is the only one doing the Discover, the past couple of years.

I think you are correct on that, Sue. Too bad I don't work for Premium anymore.

Hello all. I got an email from the artist formerly know as NARMS regarding employment with these guys. Last post in this topic was almost 2 years ago. Anybody know whats going on with Apollo nowadays? Glassdoor reviews weren't terribly favorable and I see they have changed their name a couple of times, probably answered my own question lol.
Thanks in advance

As of about a week and a half ago or so, almost all if not all of the former CPM field managers and national retail manager, Jane, were let go by Apollo. Then I think a few more were let go, before I ended up with Kathie Cox. Dawn, Jane, Christy, Tamara are all gone. I think Karen Saccardi and Mike Jenkins are gone too. Not sure what happened with them.

There had been only Beenie babies and the odd job here and there, but as of the last couple of days I've had over 100 jobs loaded for a 3 week span! A ton of P&G work! The most since they lost the deal to Crossmark. I wonder what is happening? Did we get them back? This would be great if they did. Now that they pared the manager staff down to nothing, hopefully they can keep up with it and not screw it up.

Well, it's either feast or famine, the regional managers have no idea who had what stores assigned to them. I just saw on friday someone else had been in to service the CVS 3 miles from my house. I transfered down here with the understanding that a 20 store territory was waiting for me. Some store I only went in to once or twice, then poof, no more. I'm hoping PnG is testing the waters to see if we can handle the workload.
But the regional managers are going to have to get their act together and not assign me stores 40 miles away, and have me drive past 8 store assigned to someone else.

A friend of mine just told me this week that Apollo is doing all this hiring, but he was a holdover from the merger, and he does not get enough work. He is quite disgusted.

The other rep in this area walked off the job midcycle, so I got all of his stores. With their unbalanced work load, some weeks will be fine, and some will be killers. I think I have about 30 stores total. That's in addition to my Acosta territory.
