Maria,
Just a few clarifications to your post. The purpose of the project is to reward cashiers who are doing their jobs. We have done thousands of these shops since 2008 when the program started and the feedback we have gotten from shoppers is that they are worth it and personally rewarding to them since they are shops that are set up to be based on rewards instead of shops where they feel like they are looking for things that are wrong. It's a super quick shop - no observations on the sales floor or anything like that - and the form is quick and very simple.
A discount is loaded on to your store card, and you DO get to use that discount, but not until you have finished all of your assigned shops.
There is also no longer a purchase minimum. The shops pay a flat fee and require a receipt as proof of visit, but you do not have to purchase $10.
In addition, the shops are paid out every two weeks, so while there is a potential reimbursement involved, you don't have to wait long to get the money. Many shoppers have enjoyed doing these since they can put them on their credit cards and earn rewards that way. There will be several thousand shops in the project, but it won't last long so if you think you might be interested, I encourage you to try one out while the program is still running.
They are also not nationwide, since they are focused on one shopping market at a time and the chain we are shopping is not a nationwide chain.
I hope this helps clear up any reservations you might have about the project, and I'll watch for your applications.
Thanks! Judith |

I've only done a couple small, moderate fee jobs, but the instructions were straight forward, the jobs easy and the report simple. They also paid as promised which automatically moves a company near the top of my list:)
I was wondering if anyone has completed audits for them. These involved verifying displays are set to planogram. I signed up because it looks like a reasonable job. Just looking for any advice or helpful hints someone might have picked up.
I wanted to add kudos to Judith at Summit. The job was posted for Thursday through Saturday. In my app I stated if the notification was received early enough I would try to go tomorrow. I had my shop confirmation in under two hours. It's so nice when apps don't just sit until time is almost up, or I've forgotten I even applied |

LisaSTL,
If you have done auditing work or merchandising work at all, the display audits are not difficult. The paperwork can be cumbersome and if any of the displays are not set to planogram, plan on being there for well over an hour. I had several displays that were not set to planogram and one was filled with not POG merchandise. The audit took me nearly and hour and a half. |

| Thanks Rachael! I audit all the time so this should not be bad at all. The report also seems simple and, best of all, quick! |

Is this company still active? I just logged in and there are no shops available in all of the US.

| I was advised that they are still moving their shoppers from the old system to the new. We can wait until they move us, or sign up again at the new site. |

I *LOVE* this company. They have straight forward, actually easy shops, no hype at all. They pay promptly and accurately. Judith is a dream to work with...what more could a shopper want?

| I would like to say I find this company to be one of my favorites. They have clear instructions, pay on-time and quickly, are very quick to respond to applications for jobs, and are quite responsive in general. However, there was a recent glitch when shops were cancelled before the date of performance - by the client as they said in the email. I find this disappointing as the shops were valid contracts. However, they handled it in the best possible fashion. They offered me the shops for the next weekend and at my convenience within the client's parameters. As I said, this is one of my favorite companies. I'm willing to continue with this company if cancellations do not become a trend. |
Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts.

| I have done about 10 shops in the last month. They have been great to work with, I have gotten paid already, and the reports are easy. I will continue with them. |
Thank you Carol |

| Daymon Interactions owns them. This is the same company that owns Triple Point, one of the demo companies I work for. They've always been a reliable company. I didn't know that they also owned a mystery shopping co. as well. |

Yes, the name "Caliber" is fairly new. This MSC used to go by the name of Daymon. |
