yes he shares email, but has different computer. I didn't think of that. My DIL and myself shared before for another company, but neither of us had been deactivated.

It seems they've changed the open checks assignments, it's now the first showing on each screen. You get all the same information but you also have to stay for the whole movie for each first showing on each screen. For two or more screens you need a partner. The pay is $10 for each screen. I still get paid by checks and seems now they're charging me $3 per check mailed.

Mary, back awhile ago, they sent a survey out regarding pay by checks. It included a spot, stating if you wanted a paper check and accepting a charge for the paper check. My son signed up for direct deposit at that time.

Am I right? They charge you to pay you for the work you do for them? You're in CA, seems like there would be some sort of law against that.

There is no charge for checks, there is no charge to do work, and there is no charge to register. We do encourage people to sign up for direct deposit, as the payments are posted much faster than if you have a check sent in the mail. All of your pay history is always available to you when you log in to your account. The survey was sent out so that we could better understand why some people weren't signed up for direct deposit. It turned out that most people just weren't aware!

Whew, glad to hear that, thanx for clearing that up, I have read that in some states UI is sent to banks and you get charged for some of their services related to these accounts, that's not right either.

Hi, Chris, welcome back. Since we chatted last, I've been de-activated, but have work with other companies. My son now works for Certified.

Hi Marla! I checked your account, and it looks like there was or wasn't a closed store in your assignments, depending on what the story is. Let me know if you're interested in reactivating your account, and I'm sure we can figure it out.

The movie theater checks are not per a screen anymore? Just a flat rate?

Don't know when you saw that, but the last time I did one there was a base fee plus a couple bucks extra for each additional screen--like $9 and $2, so 3 screens would net you $13.

For the same movie? I've done jobs for different movies on the same weekend in the same theater and the first screen used to pay $10, but multiple screens of the same movie always paid less.

If you did three screens it was at least $30 in less than a hour of time.

Michael, I've never seen them pay anything like that in the last 4 years. It was a set amount for the first screen, and additional screens were much lower. Of course, this was for the same movie.
