One of my Christmas desires is to be able to set up one shop a day rather than 4 on one day and 3 on another! The reports for these are murder! I hope I can schedule more well-paying, upscale dinners that will compensate so well that after the great eats are through, I will still be thankful enough to enjoy the 3 hour report. Even as a seasoned shopper, it takes me a good while to select my wording and place it in the correct place in the report!
Merry Christmas to everyone!

I hope this year I will not take my less-than-stellar grades personally, but will simply learn from them as constructive criticism. That is a high hurdle for me.

I have tried to be good, but sometimes my efforts have been in vain. So --- this is my wish list:

I hope to never have another restaurant shop during a bout of stomach flu.

More motel shops.

A recording machine for my phone line.

A friend who is 21-30 so I can accept a bar shop and take them along.

For Ray to get a lot of expressions of gratitude. This forum is great!

And most of all - for there to be enough shops that all of us get our fill, enough shoppers that if I can't go, someone else can, and for peace on earth.

All I want for Christmas is:

Peace on earth

An exercise machine with either DSL or Broadband

To be able to get in (or out) of my car without making a groaning sound

To not notice every gas station main price ID

To not get bad service at a restaurant and wish I was auditing them

To be able to tell my husband where I am going to be at noon on Thursday.

To be able to get a GPS system so I can figure out where a town the size of a flea is.

and finally...Peace on Earth.

Happy Holidays to all and may your GPS lead you to happiness and prosperity.

All I want for the holidays is:

1. A better memory. I did 4 drug store shops tonight, and forgot to write down the name of an employee, but I did write down her title.

2. A digital camera, a very small one, that I can fit in my purse.

3. To not feel like I have done something criminal when I get questioned on a shop, or am asked to write more detail. I got a quesiton tonight on a grocery shop I did Aug 1. I honestly can't find the info on the receipt she's asking for either. Of course, I have no idea what deli item I purchased that long ago.

4. More shops that pay higher fees.

5. That really beautiful cashmere sweater at Adrienne Vittadini, that we can't afford but I lust after.

6. Financial stability, or winning the lottery.

7. Happiness and good health for all my friends and loved ones.

8. More travel. We were so broke this year, we rarely managed to get away, even for 2 days. I miss my friends in Orlando.

I have 2 wishes that I wish someone could convince companies to follow:

1) 24 hours to submit all reports -not 12 hours as in many companies.

2) I wish that mystery shopping companies would stop advertising
mystery shopping on their checks to us! I would like to use these checks for teller assignments if available. However, when the check says "The Mystery Shopping Company" or "secret shopping" ,I have to
put those checks in the deposit box. We know what we do, why must they advertise it to us via their checks. Also, writing mystery
shopping on the bottom of the check makes it unusable for teller
evaluations. Why can't they use a job number instead.

My wishlist as a mystery shopper:

1. That just once I am quick enough to get that Yankee Candle Shop.

2. That I could find the company that does the Lindt chocolate shops.

3. Reaching the $1000. a month mark doing $30. shops.

4. 24 hours report time on all my shops.

5. Getting a call to do one restaurant shop a month that pays full reimbursement, has great ambience and even better food, pays a $20. fee and does not take longer than 2 hours to input.

6. That I find even more banking/investment shops and great schedulers/companies to work with.

7. Everything that MarteeC said in her original post to this thread.

Happy and profitable shopping to all.

Dear Santa:

I would like all of the G3 employees to receive their five weeks of pay, be reimbursed for their health care, get their 401 (k) money, etc.

I would like all BRI employees to get the same as G3 employees.

I would like the shoppers to be paid for their months of work.

If you cannot accomplish the above, Santa, I would like to have a glass of champagne while sitting in a court room watching the G3 hierarchy get sentenced for their actions.

Dear Santa...

I would like for a mall to open here in my town.

I would like to have more than a 4 hour window (while my son is in school) to shop!

I would like a jet engine on my car so that I could zip around quicker to do shops during that 4 hours.

(dollars) I would like for the price of gas to stay at the current $2.01.

I would like more time to have reciepts faxed...or better yet... I would like to be able to scan and email all reciepts from home.

I would like to have a week to complete all shops, it would be easier to plan my schedule!

I would like to have a decent restaurant (shopped) in my town! Not just burgers for goodness sake!

I would like for those bank shop "deposit checks" to come in the mail quicker so that I don't have to totally change my plans around!!!

I would like for everyone to have a totally blessed CHRISTmas!!! Yeah!

Thank you ,

PS more hours in the day would be nice too!!!

Wonderful list, Martee - well thought out and intelligent. I have two more on my wish list:

Please don't offer me a $2.00 bonus - just don't.

Please don't forget that digital assignments, and the new uploading requirements for 2006, require more work.

Oh, and I want ink too!

All I want for Xmas are schedulers who take their "Prozac" and make a concerted effort to do something about their "mood swings"! LOL! You don't even want to know......

From MS companies, less paperwork please! I have had a few jobs that are so simple one sheet of paper is enough but for some reason, I end up with 9 sheets of paper every time. I now know what to print and what not to but it would be easier if things weren't repeated 4 times. One is enough :).

Dear ;
I would really love to have:
-schedulers who act (and treat us) like humans
-schedulers who appreciate our bending over backwards for them
-schedulers who don't threaten me with No Pay if I don't answer back now (Even though it took them 1.5 months to look at it and ask me questions)
-companies to acknowledge their mistakes and short comings and stand up to their end of the deal
-something other than a $1 bonus on a $5 dollar job
-a company understand that I did them a favor by making a large loop and realizing that missing one picture is not the end of the world
-schedulers who don't lump us all as shoppers and flakes since some people flake
-a little more variation in the scenarios

I know I am not asking for much so PLEASE
Thank you.

yes it seems we all want similar things,
A good deal on ink would be nice.
a contact phone number, I always know when one company calls me, it shows 0000. on my mobile, and you cant ring back if you have to.
someone who talks to you about a job that is born in your country or a similar one.
A paycheck by email or snail mail, to show how much you have been paid and for what job.
A report that knows if you dont make a comment, there is not one, instead of having to write "no comment".
Being able to do a few jobs at the same chain of shops in one go, comparison is a good thing, and you get a more accurate assessment, plus the travel costs go down.
Some feedback if it is good ,not just if they need to question something. ONE of my company's includes this on the payslip.

HAVE A GOOD XMAS ALL and may all your jobs carry a mileage bonus and be within 10miles from home in the new year.

{ I,m having a barbie on the beach for xmas this year and all the kids are coming down, and they are planning a big bonfire on the beach for new year { party up large}

How about job announcements that have GPS coordinates that we can click on and have accurate locations instantly transferred to our fav mapping program?

I want to bring every editor one single style book that agrees with the style book used by one of the major word processing programs.

How cool is this? A spell checker that updates itself every time that a new restaurant has a new menu printed.

Emergency phone numbers for all assignments, printable with the assignment address page.

And, Peace on Earth, so we can all sleep better at night.
