My husband and I have been watching reruns of The Nanny late at night. He speculated that this was the last show to have words to the theme song that set up the storyline for the series. We have both thought about this for a while now, and neither one of us can come up with anything produced later.

It is easy for us to remember Gilligan's Isle, The Brady Bunch, and other shows from the 60's and 70's. We are not doing so well with remembering theme songs from the 80's or later. Anyone know of a show that might have come after The Nanny (or even at the same time) that may fit the bill?

I don't believe I have ever seen an episode. I'll check it out.

If it weren't for the current late night line-up on Nick at Night I would never have seen an episode of the Nanny, either. I just didn't watch much television except sci-fi in those days.

Thanks. I'll share this with my husband.
