I got a call from the Help Desk and was told that you have to take an assignment within a couple of days of being activated. I've been reactivated and accepted an assignment, the only one anywhere near me, but I'm not looking forward to it!

Jen Good luck. I can't imagine doing 1000 shops and being let go. I know that they sent out a call for new shoppers to all of the Mommy Blogs. (How I learned about Mystery Shopping BTW) looking for 18 to 24 year olds.

I think as soon as you get the Congratulations Email, it is over. I got one too right before being deactivated. Some on this forum have suggested, waiting a few months, then reapplying.

Good luck my prayers are with you. I know the feeling. It is awful, no personal contact to understand what happened.

Those breakfast shops are hard to do, particularly in this cold weather (even here in FLA). Good luck. You can call me anytime...BTW. :) I love all these little smilies...I must use more, more, more...

I saw that article, too. There was one in February as well saying that something was being worked on, but no names.

It is my understanding that they are only taking over the purple portal.

I think that I am not going to like SPAR!

Their website is only compatible with IE and Chrome. I use Firefox for all of my browsing. I logged in on IE so that I could review the ICA. They require Workers Compensation/General Liability insurance. It is charged at 2.9% of all invoices if you don't have your own.

Seriously??? Worker's Comp insurance!!! We're independent contractors. It should be solely our decision what insurance we do and don't carry.

It appears that the movie jobs will all remain with Certified. Does that mean the purple portal will stay as it is now on the Market Force website?

All of the purple portal items will move in 4-6 weeks to SPAR's platform.

That's what I thought at first, too, but then I got a second e-mail saying that CFA was keeping all of the theater work. I have a call into them for an explanation. I'll post what I find out.

The theatre work is staying with MFI. At least, that's what I read on MFI's website.
