Has anyone here any experience with Truss Communications? What can you tell us about them?
I received an email this morning regarding available assignments, however I have never heard of this company before and am hesitant to even file an application with them (NOT giving a SSN anywhere unless they are a proven and trustworty business).

| All I know is there independent contract on the top of it says CheckUp Marketing. |

Their shopper page says this:

Are they getting the info from Check Up, or did Check Up simply start doing business as another name? |

| Thank you so much! Hopefully they will continue the shops and start the quick pay back up. CheckUp used to be awesome, then got slower and slower. Nice folks though. |

Anybody else waiting on payment on sub shops?
I received two emails telling me that they had received my receipts on 1/25/12 and 02/12/12. I need payment before I do any more shops. |

It appears this company is a reincarnation of Check up Marketing as the physical address is the house of YARBOROUGH, C MICHAEL ; YARBOROUGH, KELLY F according to the Guilford county property records.

Update, On 2/15/12 I received a payment check for the shops listed in the 01/25/12 email. The check was dated 02/06/12.
So I guess I will get the other payment in another week or so.
I had sent a reply email to the 01/25/12 email asking when I would get paid and a Mike Yarbrough responded with my history and that I should let him know which ones I had not gotten paid yet. He said that he would look into it. |

Yes, I did get paid for those sub shops. I did another round of 9 ending on 9/26/12.
On 10/25/12 I received an email that they needed my receipts for my shops.
I submitted the receipts when I entered the shops online. So I spent an hour finding and emailing the receipts. I received a conformation on 10/26/12 that they had received my receipts.
I am still waiting on the check for these shops. I did another route of 4 by 11/4 and just received an email that they have my receipts.
I checked their web site and the payment terms say they pay within 60 days after they receive everything.
So will I not get payment for the 9 (completed by 9/26), until 12/26/12 because they confirmed receipt of my receipts on 10/26/12 and did not acknowledge that I uploaded the receipts.
They just sent out an email with some more sub shops with bonus. Waiting 90+ days to get paid means I will pass on these easy sub shops. |

Anyone have any updated information regarding payment issues? I am still owed for several shops that I completed in October and November. I have sent e-mails and have left a voice-mail but have yet to receive any kind of response.

| I am in the same situation. I haven't received payment for any of my November shops. I sent an email and no response. I had worked with the previous company for a while and had no problems. I had even been paid by Truss before but nothing as of November. |
