I didn't find anything on it with the search options. I think they might be magazines but I'm not sure.

Any info?

Thanks Marie...but I mostly meant..Does anyone have any experiences with them? I saw some disturbing things when I googled it but you can't believe everything you see on the net.

I currently work for TNG. The company pays like clockwork, so no issues there. However, we DID just take a mandatory pay cut, which is unfortunate because it wasn't much to start with. However, the work is consistent.
They service magazines in WalMart, Publix, Kroger, Walgreens, etc. Oh, and books in some chains as well. I can do books and magazines in a Walgreens in about an hour. A large and busy Walmart will take 6-8 hours for just magazines.
Hope this helps.

Sharon

Hi Sharon and thanks for the info. There is a job opening in a small town near me. The only store that you mentioned that is in that town is a Walgreens. Would you happen to know the days and hours that this store would need servicing ??

Might want to be careful. TNG recently bought out Distribution Services, (DSI). Gave all former DSI reps a 3.5% raise to cover not paying mileage the same way as DSI. A few weeks later, TNG comes along and gives everybody in the company a 3.75% wage decrease. I quit immediately. I don't do wage givebacks. I suspect that bigger financial trouble is in the near future. I have seen this song and dance before. If TNG was having money troubles, why did they take over DSI?

I, too, work for TNG. Like Sharon said, they are pretty good to work for and I ditto everything she said. Robert is right about the pay cuts. That was a bummer :(

They had a job posted for the Orlando area, 12 hours per week, but the pay is only $8.66/hr. . That isn't as much as I make at my full-time theme park job, and that's saying something.

Projects depending, that is about $1.50 per hour less than reps were being paid in Pennsylvania.

Effective June 2 is what the communication says. Everyone is supposed to transition over to TNG on that date.

I've done a lot of research on this company and have yet to find anything good about it. Lousy pay, hours, and Management are the top complaints and they are dated up to two years ago. Starting pay in my area is $8.66 per hour! Anyone have anything good to say about where the company is it at right now.

Not to mention that every time a planogram is set at Wally and returns are boxed, the books are back on the shelves next visit and the planogram is totally non existent. Gets old very quickly...

Have been offered positions from them twice, I turned them down both times. One of the "perks" of merchandising is that, typically, you can set your own schedule. That makes up some for the low pay. But when you combine what is probably some of the lowest pay I've seen in our field with a set schedule (very early morning), it just didn't add up to a reasonable job offer.

It appears that they operate similar to Driveline. I bet they have a huge employee turnover.

Funny. 2 other people in this thread in 2 different states say that TNG only pays $8.66/hr, which is $0.34/hr less than what driveline pays in my area ($9).

Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake, at least I'm done with merchandising... for goodness sake.
