WARNING: I purchased a quarter pounder as one of my sandwiches this Sunday and the report wouldn't go through. I was later told that Quarter pounder and Quarter Pounder with cheese ARE NOT acceptable sandwich purchases, although they are listed as accepted sandwiches. They said they would "let it go" this time since I had already done the shop. Gee, thanks.

According to my paperwork, only the second choice you mention is acceptable not the first one. That may be the problem.

It was the office supply section of Walmart (at least in my store). They were on the very bottom shelf below the brown bubble mailing envelopes.
Hope that helps.
Good luck with the shop.

The confirm option will highlight about a week from the shop date.

Actually I ordered a quarter pounder WITH cheese, which was my second choice listed, but was told that neither was acceptable. My paperwork lists both of them. I'll stay away from quarter pounders.

Did you do a dine in only because up here there is a restriction to only 3 items that we can purchase on a DI only shop. Neither of your choices is one of the allowed purchases if that is the case. If you did both DI and DT then I have no answer to why it would be a problem.

Dan et al, I received a response today from Gapbuster. The person with whom I spoke was looking ONLY at the choices if you do just the Dine-in, as Dan noticed. After I said again that it was in my paperwork he said that he was in error and the problem was resolved. Ah, drama!

Oh no,

Hope the 1/4 pounder w/cheese thing gets resoved, it's my
favorite. Especially works out great for the special orders
since I prefer it with no onions anyway. Guess it's easier
to just stick with the Big Mac and avoid any issues.

I have problems with ordering the filet o fish and saying
"no sauce"-I love their sauce!! Gotta be careful not to
say "no sauce dang it"

Just want to add that I love the feature where I can change
the due date. Found out at the last minute that I had to
pick up the little one from kindergarten the next morning
and I simply changed the due date on the order to the next
day.

Anyone else out there do the dine in first?
Makes more sense to me

So far so good with the Gapster!!

I've done lots of these and do the dine-in first.

Did you all get the email about the new test drive shops? I wonder what they'll be like. Involved or easier than most car companies. No mention of when they will be posted.

I haven't received any emails about test drive shops but I have received lots about a shipping company!
Maybe the test drive shops will only be in certain areas?

Oh a shipping company! Maybe it's a new one. I'll trade a test drive for a new shipping company.

The shipping company shops are super-simple, if they are the same ones I have done for them in the past. You may have to threaten to beat the employee senseless just to get the correct receipts but everything else always goes smoothly.

Way back in Nov 2006 I did 2 special shops for this company.
They sent me a special link to turn in my results and I turned in my results well within the time required. I then had a phone call a day later telling me I never turned in my assignments. I explained I had turned them in through the special link I was provided. The lady I spoke to explained they must have had a malfunction and had to take all my results again for both shops.
They then called AGAIN the next night to tell me they must have misplaced the results AGAIN! I give the results AGAIN over the phone.

Fast forward to tax time right now. I am making sure all companies paid me and I notice a problem with the two shops listed above! They said they would pay a certain amount for each shop and they would reimberse me for buying what I was required to buy in DI and DO. Well they short me 16.18 when they paid me. I went to their site and contacted them regarding this. No one has ever gotten back to me!

So I'm off to contact them yet again to try to get this situation resolved. Geesh all this when I took the 2 shops at last minute to help them out!

I have done some shops for GAPbuster. I live in Wisconsin and have never been able to take the certifying CLIENT_NAME test. They never show any shops in Wisconsin area either. Am I wrong in thinking that they don't let you take the test unless they have shops in your area? I have e-mailed them several times for answers to the above questions and never have received a reply?

Please don't say which client it is, Melly. And BTW, Gap doesn't shop their fast food client nationwide. I wish they did in my area. I haven't gotten anything from them in a long time myself. Gap is a good company.

Gapbuster is in Australia and there is no phone number for us to call.
That has been posted numerous times in this thread!

They don't provide a phone number, per Suzan of GAPbuster.

Quinn the time difference is not actually the reason to why a contact number is not available. Our company operates 24hrs a day and 7 days a week, with shift workers rotating from day shift, afternoon shift and night shift. We meet the time difference of each country we operate in and we contact shoppers according to their local time to offer assignments.

I didn't see where it was posted that a number is not qavailable. Too bad it isn't available as I sure a lot of jobs get missed because of it.
I was prepared to pay for the call and it really shouldn't matter to the company.
So what is the reason there is no contact number. The inquiry is too slow for some needs.
