Is GAPbuster even actively mystery shopping at all any more?

It used to be that every time I logged into their website, there was always an appeal for shoppers in Montana to pick up $70 to shop fast food, and a $40 shipping store in Iowa, or some stuff like that.

I logged in today, and went to the job search -- and I couldn't even select which state I wanted to search in.

Is the Gap closed for good?

I for one have not missed Gapbuster at all. I did not find them easy to work with and not very responsive to emails. And I am not sure I ever want to do business with a company that will not take phone calls to discuss problems too long to type. If they got fired I am pleased.

I miss Gapbuster too. They've haven't had any work in my area for a couple years. They've used to have some really good bonuses.

The company is based in Australia, but the calls we used to get originated from India.

Did this company completely pull out of the US market? I think this was the first company that I ever worked for.

Haven't heard a peep from them in like 3 or 4 years now. :( They used to be one of my favorite companies.

I think that happened maybe about a year ago. I have not seen anything from them in a long time, that's for sure. They used to have some nice bonuses for the FF client...

WOW woke up this morning to an email from this company, they have not had any work available in this area for nearly two years. I thought they were letting me know they now had work available, nope. For the years of loyal service, standing by them, and patiently waiting and hoping they would find other clients or get past ones back so I could continue with what I thought was a great relationship, I was deactivated.

I can see cutting out those who have not had work available to them in their areas after the lost of clients and then inviting the shopper to re apply when they do. But it is a you can NEVER re list with them EVER letter even if they were to get work in your area again. I'm very disappointed in this company for this action and I had stood by them strongly after the lost of their biggest client in my area and would have jumped right in if any other work had been made available.

Did they lose Ronald? That would have been their big, big client. Hint not mentioning a specific name but we all know who it was. That would be a big fish to lose.

I really liked working for them. They always treated me well. After I got married and moved, I just got side tracted and did not pick them up again. I liked the bonus jobs they had.
